Cora's Point of View
Before Zack let out a giant roar, I could feel him. He was angry and upset, but when the roar happened, and Gabe ran out of the room, I knew Zack would never accept me.
I could feel Zack coming closer to me, but when he walked past the room I was in, I grabbed my chest because he was rejecting the bond between us.
"Cora, are you okay?" Liz asked as she touched my arm.
"He is angry. Very angry," I said as I looked down.
"You need to give him time."
I shook my head. "He will never accept me."
"Why do you say that?"
"I'm not sure how to explain it, but I can feel him. His thoughts and feelings."
"Wolves and Lycans have similar feelings with their mates. "
"Well, he doesn't want me. He doesn't want us."
"Give him time."
