Limerence?

First Order Demons, were the most powerful and most respected in the underworld. The first order demons. These demons were created by the Almighty and possessed the most dark unhinged powers, they were the most respected and they each had their own place of reign. They were the oldest demons and they fought along side with the Devil for the throne of the Almighty before the casting down of the Devil. They were called and referred to as Principalities, the Archais of their domains and the five generals. They were in the first rank, the highest of all ranks in the demon world. The Devil is an example; the head of the evil-world system he created locked in the abyss. Second to him were the five generals of hell, Queen Lilith being the fourth. Before the war in heaven, Lucifer, as he was called before he became the enemy of the Almighty and his name was changed, was a very loved angel by the Almighty for his magnificent being and his ability to worship the Almighty with music from his body. Every angel in heaven had a significant role to perform for the Almighty as they all bowed to worship him without a mind of their own. Lucifer was an interesting angel who the Almighty took a liking to and made him a glorified angel. The devil was described as the seal of perfection, full of wisdom and perfect in beauty. Lucifer walked on the Almighty's holy mountain and was anointed to serve the Almighty as a member of the guardian cherubim, among the highest rank of angels in the Almighty's holy host, second only to the seraphim. This ordination was no small honor. After the creation of mortals, the devil, Lucifer discovered dark hidden knowledge and that was the beginning of his fall... ************** Ophelia was unhappy that Mohinii threw her out like that with rage. He actually didn't see her in that way, or was it because of her father? She asked herself internally as she drove aimlessly. Her mood was spoilt although she continued in her quest to find a human man that would attract her interest, she felt dejected, she didn't know why she was feeling this way and it wasn't even something she could explain. Did she have feelings for him without even knowing until now? Or, was she reacting like that because she had never been treated the way she was treated today in her life? She didn't know the answer to that question and it was making her mind lose. Nothing was adding up. What was actually wrong with her? As she was driving, no place came to mind, her mind was in a haze. She didn't know what to do or where to go to achieve her goal of coming out tonight in this form. The zeal had left her immediately, she was rejected and thrown out of the room. She decided to go back to the hotel. Nothing would work for her if she kept on driving like an erratic human with no purpose. The words, 'Dark Arts and Spirituality', shone brightly on the roof of a building. It was a library that mainly housed books about spirituality, dark magic, super beings and religious texts and books. It looked exquisite in the city covered with a dark sky and illuminated with artificial light sources. Ophelia stared around with indecisiveness at the building as she slowed her car down to park at a corner of the street close to the building. A library of this sort was the last place she would ever think of going into, coupled with the fact that she didn't fancy reading. Its quietness and tranquil appearance was what attracted her, it also looked scarce of humans. It looked like a place that would suit her mood instead of a pub. She had learned that humans made the library be a quiet place for comprehensive reading and for storing books. Although in schools it was mainly used by students and teachers, libraries like this welcomed everyone and were for the general public, but, it was nighttime and it wasn't a regular library, so there weren't many humans from what she could see scanning the place with her spiritual eye, which could see right through walls. Ophelia got out of her car and walked into the building with her head high in the air. As she entered, she wished she possessed the powers of a third rank demon. She would have put everyone in a subconscious state, they would be walking around like possessed inanimate beings only doing her bidding with no mind of their own, and when they got to their senses she would have been long gone. They wouldn't remember a thing that happened between that time frame of when she entered and when she left. Ophelia didn't have any book in mind to read, neither did she want to read anything. She just picked a book from the shelf because of its hard cover that resembled that of a black python's skin and sat down at the nearest empty seat to her, all the while ignoring the intent stares she was receiving from the few humans inside. She wanted to read their minds badly to know what they thought of her in their minds, the only invisible chamber where they could hide their darkest thoughts from other humans, that is. If Mohinii was around with her, she would have asked him to tell her what was on their minds or what they were saying internally about her. As the thought of Mohinii came to her mind, she felt sad, he was the cause of her now present insecurity, making her want to invade the privacy of innocent humans to know how they feel about her when she could just ignore it. "You are welcomed to the Dark Arts and Spirituality library. Do you want a recommendation on where to start your reading journey or do you have a topic of interest? I am here to provide assistance if you need it". A young beautiful lady spoke calmly and softly. "No, thank you, I am fine on my own. I think this one's great". Ophelia replied as she showed the book she was reading to the lady. On the cover of the book was written, Humans and gods. "Would you like to have something to drink or eat while you are reading?". The young lady asked with a warm smile. From her dress you can tell that she works at the library. She has attractive feminine facial features. Ophelia wondered as she gazed at her, if Mohinii would find her alluring. The young lady left her and she went back to reading as she flipped the pages of the book like she had finished reading more than ten words. Her mind was still replaying and going back to what happened between her and Mohinii, making her always lose concentration, staring and repeating one word internally for minutes. ~~~~~~~~~ Reading across from her in the library was a young man sitting at the farthest end, alone. He didn't look like an average human man, he had Viking-gold colored hair that relaxed on his broad shoulders, his pale ice-blue eyes held a cold intent stare with the embodiment of a unique structure of his eye sockets which presented his eyes in a magnificent way, it complimented his facial charm that could attract and repel at the same time. He gazed curiously at the mesomorphed-shaped, gorgeous woman that was flipping through the pages of a black book, unfocused. She was a young demon and a low-ranked one. He could sense it. She had just used her powers before entering this building and that scent belonged to a demon and not to a woman they were disguised as. Or, maybe she was a real person that was possessed by a wandering demon. They possessed this woman because of her looks. She did appear rich, from her clothes to jewelry. The demon that possessed her wanted to take advantage of her body and riches before it finds a soulless human body to live on or it increases its powers and makes a body for itself with rituals for transformation. There was a yellow scented candle in a small glass that was on the table he was reading on, with heaps of books to his left side placed neatly on the table and an open book that he was currently reading in front of him, the fire glowing from the candle light pictured on the surface of the book. ~~~~~~~~~~ Ophelia tried reading but nothing was able to register in her head, she was constantly losing focus. This was a tragedy, both her demon and her human mind were in shambles. That stunt she pulled had more of an effect on her than she would have ever imagined. Was she like this because her pride was hurt or did she actually have feelings for Mohinii and was experiencing, what humans would name it, Limerence? As she was busy with her disturbed mind, she felt something, someone was staring at her and it wasn't a regular stare, it was one that had an intent to repel. Although she had been feeling it, she ignored it like the other gazes but, it didn't stop. It continued as she didn't try to dismiss it, she was too busy losing her mind and focus. But now she felt something was wrong. Was there another demon or supernatural being in this library? Did she attract their attention by not concealing and even using her powers? Ophelia raised her head up slowly from the book and gazed suspiciously around the library hall until her eyes settled across the library. Their eyes met!
