I SAW IT COMING

CHAPTER 1 One “I always taught love was a beautiful thing but it taught me a lot of Lessons I’m gonna tell my children”Cyndi said out loud This was her 5th breakup at just 17,Cyndi was from a seperated home,She had step parents and step siblings,3 girls and a boy from her mum side and a boy from her dad side ,she loved them so much she could give her life up for them. Yes somehow it affected her in so many ways that her parents never knew,she felt every need to be with both her parents at thesame time rather than she being tossed up and down like a dice but it seemed God wanted it so,she thought her whole life everynight before she sleeps. Cyndi kept asking herself if she was just being punished by God or she is cursed or God didn’t just consider her of anything good. It Was a very good day Cyndi recently had issues with her dad so she was at her mom’s place,she felt good about this because she preferred staying with her mum rather than staying with her Dad,Mum just finished preparing dinner and everyone had eaten but it didn’t feel so well to Cyndi because the button phone her mum got for her is off and she hates her phone being off,Cyndi could literally scroll through f*******: with her button phone all day, thou it wasn’t the best but it felt good at that time. They was no light at home so Cyndi had to visit her neighbour who’s generator was already turned on,She stepped out with her immediate younger sister heading toward grace( her neighbour’s house) when on her way she met King. “Hi”he said “Oh hey good evening uncle “she replied very innocently Cyndi was Walking with her immediate junior sis who greeted too respectfully,after exchanging pleasantries they both(Cyndi and her immediate sister)just walked towards their neighbour house gisting loudly and laughing. Grace (Cyndi’s neighbour )stepped out when she heard the noises at their balcony. “Ahh Whatsup baby girl howfar”? Grace asked “I’m fine oh my love I just had a stressful day”. Cyndi answered “Please grace could you help me charge my phone and power bank” Cyndi begged “Sure baby girl”Grace said and took the phones and power banks from Cyndi. “I will get it back later before my sister and I go to bed”Cyndi Added and strolled off with her sister. At home since their generator refused to turn on,Cyndi sat down with her sisters discussing every bit of their day and laughing loudly. It was already 10:00pm and it was time for the house doors to be locked,Cyndi and her sis rushed out immediately. “Mummy mummy” Cyndi and her Cecilia shouted out to their mum. “Ahhh this children why all these shouting this night??what is it?” Cyndi’s mum questioned. “Sorry mum please we just have to go get the phones and power banks before you lock the doors or rather we will lock them ourselves when we get home thanks mummy”Cyndi replied Cyndi immediately rushed out with her immediate younger sister (Cecilia) to go and get their phones and powerbanks,on their way they meet King again. “Hey you look new around here,did you just move in with Cecilia and her parents?” King stopped Cyndi to ask. “No I have always lived here i only went to spend a weekend with my dad”Cyndi replied politely. “Oh okay you look beautiful dear and where are you headed to?”. “To get my powerbank uncle”Cyndi replied naively “ Let me stroll you and your sis then”King said. Immediately Cyndi held her junior sis firmly and they moved all together,they knocked at grace house. “Oh Cyndi it’s you?! The phones and powerbanks aren’t charged fully but their percentages are just enough to last for a day”Grace said carefully. “Ahh thank you so much you’ve done so much than you can really imagine I appreciate”Cyndi replied gratefully. Ah ah is that not brother king I’m seeing with you guys? Grace said trying to really acertain if it’s truly him through the darkness that lingered. “Hey grace it’s me how’s your sister? King replied to save her the stress. “She is very fine brother”Grace replied They all said goodnight to each other but King kept following Cyndi and her sis behind,Cyndi immediately clinged her sister to her sister and hold her hands firmly, saying some sort of prayers to herself. “Hey” Cyndi shivered with so much fear. “Umm sorry for making you scared but could I get your number atleast please? King completed. Cyndi felt reluctant to doing so because she was still small and naive but finally gave in. “ Okay then,she immediately gave it to him and ran with her sis all the way home,they quickly locked their gates and doors,and then went inside to meet their mum.
