I'm kinda happy Thiago offered to drive as I was too shaken and scared to focus. I might have been snapping at him, calling him an old lady a couple of times and generally been rather obnoxious the whole way. Considering if we should have changed and run in our wolf forms, we might need the car for Hadley and also because it tends to give too much attention with wolves running through town.
“Unlocked?” Thiago says with surprise as he pulls open the front door to the address Hadley gave me. “Easier for us.”
We hurry upstairs; she had said upstairs bedroom and it only takes a moment to figure out where they are, as I can hear Calix’s gleeful laughter. He turns as we burst through the door. “You... what are you doing here?”
