It's late at night but I'm still awake. I'm waiting for Charles to arrive. He hasn't come home from the whole day since he left this morning. Maybe I hurt him so much that he didn't want to see me in the meantime.
It was only a few minutes before midnight when I heard the sound of a car stopping in front of Charles' house. I immediately peeked out the window of my room to see if Charles had arrived.
I was right. It was Charles who came. But he was not in his car instead, he came out from Chona's car. The woman took back Charles to his house because he looked very drunk. Chona leaned closer to Charles but I didn't see if she kissed the latter on the lips or cheek because it was dark in front of the gate.
