when we got back to the pack it was very late so late infact that there was barly anyone outside, everyone was sleeping. everyone except the alphas of course, we walked into the cavern and malikys mother yelped with joy and came to smell her pups for any injeries.

"father, we have very terrible news," i start and as all of us tell tranto of our first mission he starts to growl as we start getting to the point that we say that ryan and riya are gone, valine wimpers because we all think the same thing they are dead somewhere or they left the pack, either isnt a good thing to hear, but when we get to the part when we encounter 'claw' he lets loose an agnry howl, soon all the wolves are joining and are running into the cavern, then he says to everyone so anybody could hear.

THE DEMON DRAGON HAS RETURNED AND HAS CLAIMED A HUMAN AS A GUARDIAN VESSEL, THERE IS ONLY ONE THING TO DO.... THE BOY AND THE DEMON MUST DIE.

"why do you wisssh to join me boy?" the giant snake looked down at me and ryia, i can feel my heart wanting to pound out of my chest.

"because our pack did not realise our potentioal they do not deserve us, nor do we want to be just trackers.... we want it all we should have been the next alpha pair, insted that girl who doesnt know who or what she is dealing with." i say fear no longer a problem now that my anger has surfaced.

"That girl is my sister and if you really wish to join us then you leave her and her pack of muts to me all you have to do is attack the alpha pair in power now." the strange man said he scares me more than the snake he looks like melenie but older and his eyes are pure black.

"haha, that issss the sssspirit, max, yesss your ssister hass betrayed your trusst sshe had one of her friendss wound you ssso i know you can still feel the pain asss do i." the snake said with a sneer " and you my boy are welcome to join if you have what it takesss.”

I’m floating in pure darkness I remember hearing melenie calling my name then Intense pain then nothing I am nothing anymore it’s all I know all I feel now it feels like years has gone by but in truth it could me minuets, I don’t know. Sometimes when I think I’m sleeping I hear a voice telling me not to give up I’m stronger and I can be some more the. The voice fades and I hear the snake again saying how strong I’m getting some times the voices sound the same others times the voice sounds like a girl, she reminds me of Avery with her sing song voice. I hear her now she just keeps repeating “ max you know more than you think don’t give in when your strong enough you will know don’t give into the darkness they are coming for you.”

Then nothing again it feels like decades later before I hear another voice...

What will happen next? Will they kill max and in turn the demon dragon or will everybody perish find out in the next book Guardians of the Forest “ into the night” coming soon!!
