CHAPTER 2 SHOPPING

The next afternoon the girls meet up after work to go shopping. Angelina takes the girls to the new mall that just opened on her territory.

Angelina (Ang) POV

These girls have no clue I’m a wolf and even though the

 mall is on my territory and not many wolves are fond of 

humans on their territory but they’re ok with

 them shopping at our new mall.

Angelina: Ok so you girls ready to shop till you drop. 

Lily: Uhhh yea my expertise is in shopping lets go.

Layla: It's whatever let’s just find a dress for this banquet.

Me and lily pick two dresses 

each for Layla try on

Alpha Liam: *ML to Ang*

Hey, did you forget to bring me those papers for the banquet on Friday or what?

Angelina: *ML to Liam*

Oh, s**t I forgot I’ll bring them tonight it’s in my car I’m shopping with my friends I’ll be home soon.

Alpha Liam: *ML to Ang*

I’ll see you tonight then

Layla: Hey Ang are you ok?  You look constipated.

Angelina: Yea why?

Layla: Well for starters I asked you how does this dress look?

Layla shows me a halter top long black maxi dress 

with high slits on the side

Lily: Wow you look good but 

Angelina: Wow but yea not for the banquet 

Layla: Ok on to the next one 

Layla tries on a red tight tube dress that 

shows off all her curves

Angelina: Damn girl I didn't know you were hiding all of that. 

Layla: (Laughs) well what do you think?

Lily: Love it but it’s also not the one.

Angelina: Yeah next.

Layla:  Ugg today's going to be a long day.

Layla comes out with a tan tube top dress with knee-high slit

Layla: what about this one?

Angelina: Wow I mean you can wear a trash bag and look good but still not the one.

All three of us laugh

Lily: (Laughing) yeah let’s try trash bag

Angelina: Ok let’s try one it looks suitable for the banquet.

Layla: Ok fine I’m exhausted 

Layla tries on the last dress which is a black spaghetti 

strap with plunged v neck open back with two thigh-high slits

Angelina:  …………

Lily:  …………

Layla: Ok so I’m assuming this is it. The One.

Both Lily and I nod

Lily: Yes, you’re definitely getting that dress 

Angelina: definitely you have too 

Layla: (wiggling eyebrows) I know I look good in this dress that's why you’re both eye-f*****g me.

Lily: (Laughs) I can’t help it if I weren’t with Jessica, I would have totally turned you out 

Angelina: Omg (laughing) wipe that drool off your chin Lil

All three of us are laughing

Layla: Let's go I’m exhausted, we got everything from shoes to dresses and accessories my feet are going to fall off.

Lily: Hey I’m gonna head home Jessica’s waiting.  See you all tomorrow if not Friday night.

Angelina: K goodnight

Layla: later

Angelina: Come I’ll give you a ride home

Layla: OK let’s go then

Layla and I put our bags in the trunk of my car and head out.

End POV

Angelina: (Driving) s**t I have to drop off some papers to my Alph… I mean brother for the banquet since I only live 3 minutes from here, I’m a stop there to drop it off then ill drop you off at home ok.

Layla:  OK I don't care I just have to pee (laughing)

Angelina: (laughing)

Angelina and Layla arrive to Angelina’s packhouse and 

Layla’s amazed with how beautiful her cabin looks. It’s a 

three-floor cabin mansion with a lake like pool in front of it.

Layla: Wow your house is like a cabin on steroids

Layla: Your house is massive, It's like a cabin mansion. Do you live here with just your brother?

Angelina: No most of my family lives here too. The bathroom is upstairs to the right.

Layla: wow big family then. Ok thanks.
