*Daniel*
“Ready for a night of fun ?” Aiden says grinning, as he joins me and Danny in front of the elevator.
“Sure ... how can hearing you two try and sing in French not be fun ?” I chuckle.
Danny looks a little nervous. “So ... I kinda invited someone to join us. I hope it’s okay ?”
“You invited someone ... like a girl ? You met someone ?” I look at him, wondering who it could be.
“She is just ... a friend”. Danny glances nervously at Aiden for some reason.
Aiden groans and rubs a hand over his face. “Please tell me you didn’t invite Tabitha to join us”.
“Who is Tabitha and why don’t you want her there?” I look at Danny and Aiden in turn, still confused about what is happening here.
“She is just a girl working here at the park. I spent the day with her today ... she is really nice … really”. Danny says, scratching nervously at his neck.
Aiden sighs. “She is sweet. She is also what ... 18-19..?”
“17 actually”. Danny mumbles.
Aiden groans again. “Okay 17 then ... she is a sweet and pretty 17 year old girl, who kinda … has a crush on me and keeps flirting in a way that makes me rather uncomfortable”.
“Ouch”. I make a face. “Yeah that is never a nice feeling ... but why did you invite her Danny ?”
But he doesn’t have time to answer as the doors pling open and he instantly spots her, mumbling. “Shh, act normal ... she is right there”.
And she is a very pretty girl, right now wearing a short dress with a sequin skirt and a kinda low cut black top that doesn’t do much to hide that she was blessed with a rather voluptuous chest.
“Hi Danny”. She smiles and gives him a small wave, making his face erupt into a happy grin. So that is what it’s about, she might be crushing on Aiden, but there is no doubt Danny sees her as more than a friend ... this can only end in trouble.
“Hi Tabitha sweetie”. He hurries over to hug her.
The girl looks at Aiden, her cheeks flushing and her eyes shining, yup, no doubt she has a crush on him. “Hi Aiden”.
“Hi Tabitha”. His smile is kinda forced and the one armed half hug is a bit awkward. It is clear this makes him feel bad.
Danny looks at her, then me. “Tabitha ... this is Daniel ... Daniel, this is Tabitha ... my ... friend”.
She gives me a friendly and a bit shy smile, holding out her hand. “Oh I know who he is, it’s a real honor Mr Quinn”.
“The pleasure is all mine darling ... and please say Daniel”. I shake her hand, giving her a warm smile back. Yup, this is going to be an interesting night.
*Tabitha*
I can’t help feeling really proud as we walk to the karaoke place in the Fairytale village. It’s a sports bar, with a big outdoor area. Today they have a small stage and a karaoke machine put up. Everyone is looking at the 3 handsome men walking with me.
Beside me Danny is chatting happily. I have to admit that he looks cute wearing a short sleeved striped shirt and black pants. And I notice that his cheeks, which were smooth this morning, now have a light stubble, making him look older and actually more handsome.
In front of us Daniel and Aiden are talking in a low voice. Daniel is wearing a deep blue shirt with the sleeves rolled up and black jeans, looking very handsome. Aiden is in a short sleeved shirt with kind of a mexican print and dark pants, looking dashing as ever.
People are staring at us, especially women, and I totally get them ... I mean these 3 are undoubtedly the hottest guys here.
“So how are you guys liking it here so far ?” I ask as we sit down at a reserved table up front.
“I love it here ... Paris is ... very beautiful”. Danny says, smiling brightly at me.
Aiden rolls his eyes at Danny for some reason and Daniel quickly answers. “Everyone has been very kind”.
“I heard you ran into my mom the other day ... Maisie ... or Aurelia if you will”. I say. Mom had told me in the evening.
“Oh Maisie is your mother ?” He looks almost shocked. “I hope it’s okay to say, but she must have been really young when she had you”.
I shake my head slightly. “It’s fine and yes.. she was 16 when she had me, so very young.. but she has handled it amazingly”.
“Wow, 16 ... that’s really early”. Danny says. “So you mom is actually almost 5 years younger than Aiden ... that’s kinda weird thinking about”.
“I guess”. I feel my cheeks flush, I know what he is doing here.. he is pointing out how much older than me Aiden is.
Aiden nods. “Yeah.. I could be your father.. makes one feel old”.
“It’s because you are old”. Danny says with a chuckle, winking at Aiden.
“Hey..”. Aiden starts, but Daniel quickly stands up, clearing his throat, making everyone look.
“Time for a drink ... what do you guys want ?” He looks around.
Aiden slumps back. “A tequila ... I definitely need a tequila ... a double”.
“Just a beer”. Danny says, then he looks at me. “What do you want, Tabitha ?”
Daniel holds up his hand. “That would be a soda, I am not buying alcohol for a minor.. sorry”.
“It’s totally fine ... I don’t really drink ... so just a coke”. I say with a smile.
He gives me an approving smile. “Okay then, does anyone want to give me a hand carrying it ?”
“Sure”. Aiden quickly gets up from his chair. “I’ll be happy to give you a hand”.
When they have walked inside I sigh. “He can’t wait to get away from me”.
“Sorry Tabby, but you are very young compared to him ... and Aiden is a good guy, he wants to be friendly ... but he is scared you might misunderstand”. He says softly.
“But I don’t care about his age ... Why does he have to care ? I thought men preferred younger women”.
Danny takes my hand. “Not all men and not so much younger ... he cares because he is a decent guy”.
“Well it still sucks”.
