Last night was interesting for me. I had so many thoughts racing through my head that I just couldn’t turn off the hamster on its wheel.
So this morning, when I picked David up for school, I wasn't in a good mood due to the lack of sleep.
“I talked to Nina last night,” David said, breaking the silence in the car.
“Let me guess, she isn’t happy with how I’m handling things,” I replied.
David let out a breath and said, “You know, I know I’m an asshole, but you can be too sometimes. For the record, actually no, she is on board with helping us get Michelle. Lila is like a sister to her; she wants to destroy Michelle.”
