Today marks another one of my tutoring sessions, and it’s strange how much help my tutor has provided me. She’s is definitely helping me with my dyslexia.
One of the first things she did was bring me textbooks with larger print, making the text easier to read. She also creates colorful flashcards that break down things into easier concepts, which has really helped me grasp the material better.
As we were diving into my homework, I noticed my phone lighting up on my desk. My tutor must have seen it too because she glanced at me and said, “Hand the phone to me. You don’t need distractions.”
Reluctantly, I reached over and handed it to her. She checked the screen and remarked, “David is calling you. You can call him back when we’re done.” With that, she tucked my phone safely int
