Tonight has definitely been interesting. Is this what happens when you hang out? It seems like everyone is suddenly opening up and admitting things.
“Well, it’s about time you were honest. I mean, it was kind of obvious that you two had something going on,” Billy said.
David shot him a glance. “No, we weren’t,” he replied defensively.
“Ah, yeah, you were,” Billy mocked.
“Dude, Billy's right. We could tell something was up with you two,” Andy chimed in.
I glanced over at Nina; she had her head down, staring at the table.
“You okay?” I whispered.
“Yeah, I’m fine,” she whispered back, looking up at me with a small smile.
