Nina dropped me off at home after school, and my mind was racing with thoughts about the party Shawn mentioned today.
I’ve never been to a party before. I know it’s not like a birthday party or anything, but when I first texted Shawn, I made up an excuse about not being invited. I just didn’t want him to know the truth—I’ve never actually attended a party.
