In the mystical realm of Solaria—a land steeped in magic, secrets, and ancient traditions—two kinds of werewolves exist: the dominant Alphas and the elusive Lonewolves. Alphas are revered for their strength, authority, and unbreakable bonds to their packs, while Lonewolves wander the world alone, driven by fate and the search for belonging.Jail, the formidable Alpha of the Silvermoon Pack, is one of the most powerful leaders in all of Solaria. For twenty-six years, she has ruled with unwavering strength—but despite her power, one thing has always been missing: her fated mate. Pressured by her family to secure an heir and protect the future of her kingdom, Jail refuses to settle. She believes in the prophecy of the Moon Goddess and patiently waits for the one destined for her.But fate has its own plans. One fateful night in the forest, Jail finally encounters her mate—only to discover he is an eighteen-year-old Lonewolf, inexperienced, unclaimed, and completely unprepared for the world she comes from. What happens when a powerful Alpha meets a young, solitary wolf who is her destined partner? The Talk
Jail POV I’m 26 and still haven’t found my mate. Most wolves find theirs at 18, when they come of age. On my 18th birthday, my father—the Alpha of the Silvermoon Pack—handed the pack over to me, even though I hadn’t found my mate yet. It’s been eight years since I took over, and still… nothing. I’m an only child, and while my mum always wanted a son to take over after Dad, that didn’t stop them from loving me or wanting the best for me. They raised me to be strong, capable, and worthy of leading this pack. As a child, I started training with the warriors at the age of five. That training shaped me into the leader I am today. Moving on… I walked over to my desk and sat down, leaning back in my chair. Before I could gather my thoughts, I caught the familiar scent of my mother just outside the door. A soft knock followed. “Come in,” I called. She entered and sat across from me, her expression already telling me this wasn’t going to be a pleasant conversation. “When are you going to accept the idea of choosing a mate?” she asked gently. “You’re not getting any younger. Your father and I want to see our grandchild… or grandchildren… soon.” I rolled my eyes. “Mum, not this again. I will only accept my mate—no one else. I know he’s out there somewhere. I just need to find him. Everything will fall into place… I know it will.” She sighed and stood, walking over to me. Placing a comforting hand on my back, she said softly, “I know, honey. I’m just worried.” “I know, Mum. I know.” She gave my shoulder a small squeeze before leaving the office, closing the door behind her and leaving me alone with my thoughts.
