Darius's Pov
"Soraya snap out of it."
Her head turned to look at me and for a second I saw something in her eyes that wasn't human. They were glowing silver and when she spoke it definitely wasn't Soraya.
"Let her go" I said, I wasn't sure who I was talking to.
"Never" the voice said through Soraya's mouth. "She is mine as much as I am hers, we are one being split in two. I will not be caged anymore."
Then Soraya's body started shaking. Her back arched off the bed and she made sounds that were part scream and howl. I held her shoulders trying to keep her from hurting herself.
"Let her go" I said again, my voice came out as a growl. My wolf was pushing forward wanting to force this thing to release our mate.
