THE DEAD UPRISING

Episode 3 : Escape

As Jack was hanging in the ladder crying for help, the Dead were trying to pull him down, their growling and roaring was making Jack panicked and lose his grip.

Jack's Dad saw him and he had to take the risk to save Jack. Thomas found a rope he threw it on the other side, Ryan caught the Rope and tied it to a wall on the other side of the building, Thomas had also tied the rope tight in the building so that he can move with the help of the rope to the other side.

Thomas slowly was moving with the help of the rope but the rope was shaking too much, he was not able to keep up the grip, but somehow he started moving slowly to reach the other side and to help his Son.

Jack's Dad Thomas had finally reached the other side of the building, he reached his hand towards Jack and shouted hold my hand I will pull you up Son.

Jack was in a bad position, if he losses the grip he is done, the Dead will eat him up, some how Jack tries holding the hand of his Dad. He misses 2 times but the 3rd time he gets a grip and catches his Dad's hand.

Thomas with all he's got pulls Jack back up to the top, Jack was saved by his Dad.

They both lie on the ground breathing deeply and fast, Jack telling to his Dad.

Jack: You saved me, I thought I'm done.

Thomas: Till I'm there with you don't ever think this again.

Thomas holds Jack's hand gets him up and they watch the other side of the building (Police Station) from where they had came, 3 Police officers were fighting for their lives, they were shooting the Dead.

The people who had already reached the other side started helping the officers by shooting the Dead but it didn't help much as some didn't knew how to use the weapons, in some time the Dead got those 3 officers and they were being eaten alive.

Thomas closes Jack's eyes, he keeps a hand on his back and turns him around so that he don't have to watch it. The Dead were now at the top of the Police station, they were too many.

Fortunately, Jack his family and the other survivors were on the other side of the building, they had some guns few ammunitions and armours left with them, they distributed it to some and told to gear up.

They didn't know how to use it, an old man from the group comes forward and explains he was a retired military officer and can help with teaching how to use the guns and self defence.

The sun was setting and it was getting dark, someone had to take the lead to decide what to do next.

Thomas steps up and a few people from the group come forward to decide what to do next, after their discussion was over, they decided to hold till morning where they were and spend the night at the building.

To make sure they were safe, everyone were informed to check if the door's were closed and if there were no Dead (Zombies) downstairs, some people with Thomas went down to check if everything was clear, they checked each and every corner and found some useful things like Torch, some snacks and some clothes which could help them in this situation.

Everything was clear and they decided to stay till the night.

Thomas started searching the whole building so that he can get more such things which they found before, he found a magnifying glass and some other useful items.

Meanwhile, the street was full of Dead, they were roaming on the streets.

After some time, everyone settled in one place they had quiet conversations with each other.

They had to be very careful with their sound as the Dead gets attracted by the sound.

Jack and his friends were also gathered together convincing Jessy and trying to get her back.

Jack said: Sorry for your loss Jessy, I loved them too but now we need to get ourselves together and stand strong to fight with these things.

Jessy: Crying and snobbing.

Ryan: Ya Jack's right Jessy, we all need to stand together and protect each others to fight those Zzzzombies.

Tina: But how will we kill those things, they look wierd and scary.

James (Police officer) came from upstairs informing everyone, we have to be very quiet so that the Dead don't listen us, make minimum movements and avoid unnecessary sound, after informing this to everyone he sat on a chair, keeping his hands on his head (worried).

A Police officer went to check the windows if the streets were clear. But the Dead were till there on the Streets.

He closed the curtains and assembled with others, everyone were worried about something. They had also losed their loved one's.

On the other side, Thomas took all the useful things available and came back to Jack and sat with him, Thomas said to Jack and Maria.

Thomas: Jack & Honey, you both have to be strong, we may have to face worser situation then we are facing now.

Jack: ....ok Dad.

Jack's Mom (Maria): ..... (she was panicked)

Everyone in the group were too much tired, and they slept in whatever positions they were sitting.

Thomas also slept, thinking about what to do next...

The group had faced too much, they saw the police officers eaten alive by the Dead. The whole group knew what they were going through.
