Episode 5: Finding a Safer place

After hearing the story of how the Z plague started, they had no choice but to save themselves from the Dead.
As they heared the sound of the Dead from the streets, slowly walking towards the building they were in, Thomas and James had no choice other then informing the others about it and getting out of the building.
James told Thomas to let others know about it till then James will find a way to get out of the place.
Thomas went to others and slowly said:
Guys the Dead are coming we have to get out of here.
The other survivors were scared but they didn't had other options then running from the Dead.
They could not wait and take a chance if the herd will pass by them, it would be dangerous if the Dead notice them, the group would not survive.
Soon James had found a back door in the building and checked if everything was cleared outside, he then went a bit further to check the streets.
After some time, he saw a vehicle on the road and was happy about it, he thought if this car works they can reach to the city nearby.
James went to check the car, the door of the car was locked. He could not make any sound as there were Dead (Zombies) not far from him, as if any sound he makes it will attract them towards him.
He tried to pull the door but it was locked tight, he went to find something nearby after searching for some time, he found a crowbar nearby.
He took that crowbar and tried to unlock the door of the car without making too much noise, he was trying very hard as it was the only option left for him to leave the city with the others.
A clicking sound came from the door lock and it was unlocked. James had to try and start the car but if the car starts, the sound of the engine starting would drag the Dead from the streets, so he thought to leave it as it was and get the others, he took the crowbar with him.
He was in a hurry to reach the building where he had left everyone, he had the crowbar in his hand, while he was heading towards the building he saw 2 of the Dead noticed him and were coming for him.
The Dead were moving slowly towards him, he had no choice but to attack them as they were only 2. He went towards them and hit them with a crowbar on their head, the both of the Dead were down their heads were shattered.
He heard some noise from behind when he turned back to look, he was frightened and was panicked with what he saw, the herd of Dead were also coming from the other side.
He could not take all of them at once with the crowbar he had, James decided to run and reach to the building as soon as possible.
James had now reached the building after escaping from the herd, he went inside and informed others.
James said: the Dead a lot of them, are also coming from the other side, we need to hurry up.
(Now they were trapped from both the sides)
They had no other way, they locked all the doors and took guns, weapons what ever they could find nearby a stick , a hammer, a knife and all other equipments nearby to fight the Dead.
Jack and his friends were just standing between everyone as they were the younger ones and they could not fight the Dead by themselves.
The group included (Jack, his friends, his family, James with 2 police officers Ken & Paul and 6 other people in the group)
James said to everyone: This is the time, we fight or we die, keep your weapons ready and try attacking the Dead on their head, that is the only way they go down.
Everyone in the group were ready for the Dead but the fear for the Dead was still there in their mind, but they had to fight to save them and their loved ones so they stood together to fight the Dead.
James told everyone to take out the guns and shoot the Dead on their head once they start entering from the Door.
Half of the group went to the front door with James and others, and Thomas looked after the back door.
Jack, his friends and his Mom Maria with 2 other women were standing in between them as they could not defend themselves.
James stood with all and he shouted Be ready guys, some people's hands were shaking in fear.
Meanwhile, the Dead were near the building, James told other officers to hold don't shoot, wait for my order. He went to peek from the doors and check.
He walked slowly towards the door keeping his footsteps lite to avoid much sound, he peeked from a small hole in the door and saw throught it.
The Dead were approaching towards the building, James started to look around the streets from the small gaps in the door, he couldn't find anything useful.
The only way they had was to fight the Dead now.
After waiting for some time, the Dead were near the buildings, banging their heads on the door, scratching it (Roaring and Moaning).
Everyone were ready with their weapons in hand.
Suddenly there was a blast nearby: Booooooom!!!
An explosion nearby the streets.
It was so loud, that some people in the group fell down from the sudden shock of that sound.
The sound of the blast dragged the Dead away from the building, they started moving to the other direction were the sound had came from.
That blast had saved the group from the herd.
James said I don't know how but we are safe for now. Thanks to God he saved us.
Everyone in the group were now relieved as the herd was going away from them.
Thomas went and hugged his son Jack and his wife Maria. He said in a low voice, thank god.......and kissed their forehead.
James was thinking, what was that blast from where did it came from. He had hope that there were other survivors too or was it just an accident....
He went in front of everyone in the group, and said we have to leave, I don't feel this place is safe anymore with the larger group of the Dead nearby.
James also informed the group that he saw a vehicle nearby. The group were happy to hear this from him.
Thomas said: Finally we can get out from here and get to somewhere we can be safe.
(The group were again saved by the Dead, but till when can they survive the Dead).
