During the party, almost all the students and teachers wore red and white which represented love.

" Good morning ladies and gentlemen,You are all welcome to the valentine's party which is organized by no other person but our one and only able proprietor.I promise you all that today's gonna be fun.All you have to do is sit back, relax and enjoy all the entertainment we will bring your way ". That was no other person but Maxwell who was the master of ceremony (M.C) After greeting everyone he handed over the microphone to the proprietor to address everyone. when the proprietor was done with his speech,they proceeded to the next activity which was a dance presentation from the school's dance club.When they were done,the M.C stood up to address the crowd

" I have no doubt that you are all enjoying the occasion. Please a round of applause for the school's dance club for the wonderful presentation. Moving on to the next item on our list is the music presentation from the school's music club.Please appreciate them as they come forward ". he said before taking his seat.The music club was headed by Tasha.As they walked forward,the crowd applauded them and this gave them some morale.The music presentation was followed by some other presentations from various groups.Then the time everyone had being waiting for finally came.This was the time when each student with his/her partner came forward to present all they had prepared. At this point, Brenda was nervous because she wasn't aware that they were supposed to present during the party.She quickly went to meet Desmond.

" Desmond what are we going to do because I didn't plan for any presentation"

" You don't have to be Brenda. So we are just going to the stage and anything I say,you will just play along ok"

" Ok Desmond.lets go to the stage. I hope we will perform well ". Though both of them were nervous,yet they made up they would come out the best no matter what.When it was time for them,the M C called them forward

" can you all put your hands together as we welcome Brenda and Desmond for their presentation".

" Good morning everyone.we hope you are having a good day.well,our presentation does not have a specific title but as you watch,we hope that you will learn a lesson". Though he was unsure of what to say or do next,he still displayed some level of confidence.After some minutes,they were done with their representation.While Desmond said some emotional words, Brenda backed up with a song to suite whatever he was saying.Everyone was captivated by her voice except for one person,Tasha. Tasha was boiling with anger when she saw both of them presenting. She just wished she could strangle that poor girl called Brenda.

" Who the hell did she think she was to snatch her partner away from her " she thought. Then she made up her mind she would teach her a lesson. Then an idea came to her head.She quickly brought out her phone and snapped them when they were looking at each other. She then decided she would trace Brenda home and made sure the picture get to her mother no matter what.She was bent on making Brenda's life miserable. After snapping the picture,she quickly edited it and kept it back as the M.C came on stage to address everyone.

" Please can you applaud these talented young hearts for that wonderful presentation". He said as the crowd applauded them.

" I am glad to inform you that from all the performances, the set of people that came out best and will be considered the best partners of this year's valentine is no other person but...............". There was silence as everyone was eager to hear who would be declared the best partners of the year. Brenda and Desmond turned to stare at each other. They both looked then the M.C went on

" The best partners are. .... Desmond and Brenda". The place became noisy as everyone was applauding and hugging both of them. It only made things worse for Tasha. She was fuming within her and Fender could see it

" Hey girl don't tell me you are angry because of this bullshit.common girl, just forget about this Desmond of a guy.It is so obvious that he has never liked you "

" Fender please can you not make things worse for me cause right now am loosing it. I can't let Brenda go scot-free for this.I must teach her a lesson "

" So what do you plan to do ??"

" I want you to accompany me as I trace her home today. I must show the pictures I snapped of her with Desmond to her mother.I know she will be very mad at her when she sees them "

" I think you are going too far Tasha. I know we have always bullied others in order to get what we want but I don't support you in this particular mission.Please have a rethink about it"

" There is nothing to rethink about Fender. I have already made up my mind and nothing will make me change my mind about that "

" Then you have to go on your own cause am not in support of it"

" Really Fender, are you seriously leaving me at this point that I need you because of that poor thing "

" I know I've always hated Brenda and always mocked her because she's poor but with what she performed out there,I really regret all my actions.I feel like a different person right now.We shouldn't mock others just because we have what they don't have"

"wow. interesting speech Mr Fender. You know am beginning to think that this girl has casted a spell on all of you.Cause I don't understand why you of all people will be speaking good of Brenda all of a sudden.Well like I have told you,my mind is made up and nothing will change that "

" Then consider me your enemy from now henceforth.I off and will never support any form of bullying of any weaker student again. As a matter of fact,am going to apologize to Brenda for all the evil things I have ever done to her " he said sternly and left immediately. Tasha could not comprehend what had really happened to Fender cause he didn't behave like the Fender she knew.Never the less,her mind was already made up.she was definite that her plans would come to pass and she had little idea of what would soon befall her.
