After Tasha confronted Brenda,she tried as much as she could to stay away from Desmond.She only talked to him during their group discussion.Desmond noticed this and decided to ask what was wrong

"hey Brenda,what have I done to you that you have been avoiding me"Desmond asked

"Nothing and I have not been avoiding you.Am just trying to mind my business and avoid trouble" She replied

"so you mean am the trouble you are trying to avoid"

"I never said that Desmond.i just said am trying to avoid trouble and besides the last I checked,we were nothing but group members so we should share nothing more than that"

"look Brenda I know something is wrong somewhere but you don't want to tell me. please can you just tell me my offense right now so that we can work it out?".

"well the truth is".she suddenly paused

"the truth is what?? .you are getting me worried Brenda". Desmond said looking really worried.

"Tasha warned me to stay away from you" .she said

"she did what???"". Desmond said feeling annoyed.Who the hell did Tasha think she was to warn Brenda to stay away from him. Well he decided he was going to confront her. As if Brenda knew what was going on in his mind she immediately pleaded with him not to confront Tasha as she didn't want to get into trouble with anyone but Desmond made up his mind that he would confront her no matter what.Immediatelly he left and went in search of Tasha.At this point Brenda was worried because she didn't want any problems.She decided to tell her friends about it.

"hey guys, I've got something to tell you"

"c'mon girl.spill it out.our ears are so itchy."

"well, Natasha confronted me warning me to stay away from Desmond.And the problem right now is that Desmond observed that I have been avoiding him.so he asked me what the problem was I told him that Tasha had warned me to stay away from him.i think Desmond is going to confront her.and you know if he does that I will be in trouble."

"Is that why you face is like this?!" Edwards asked.

"of course yes.what do you want me to do."??. Brenda asked

"well you don't have to do anything about that.don't worry I'm sure Desmond has everything under control". Tracy replied.She felt a little bit better but was somehow worried.Meanwhile, Desmond had talked to Tasha about the issue but he did it politely.

"hey Tasha.how are you doing"??. Desmond asked in a gentle manner.

"hi Desmond. i am fine" . Natasha replied feeling shy.

"can I talk to you about something"

"Common go ahead am all ears". At this point Tasha was imagining the kind of couple they would be.She imagined them winning the best couple of the year in the school during their valentine party. As she was deep in thoughts Desmond interrupted her.

"why did you do what you did. I mean that wasn't right"

"what are you talking about Desmond.i mean I didn't do anything wrong"

"why did you confront Brenda and asked her to stay away from me". Desmond asked patiently waiting for his response.

"why wouldn't I.i have been giving you green light but you seemed not to notice me.look Desmond I really like you and I can't watch seeing another girl with you especially that poor thing that calls herself Brenda.That's why I had to do what I did.". At this point, Desmond was dumb founded and didn't know what to say.

"How can you be fighting for a guy you barely know. I am not even up to a week old in this school.What do you know about me?? absolutely nothing.My dear am sorry to say this please whatever feelings you have for me you have to let go. I can't end up with a bully like you". Desmond replied and walked out. Tasha was very angry.Who the hell did he think he was to reject a girl like her.She was sure that Brenda had something to do with this.She started thinking of how she would deal with her. An idea came to her head.Then she went back to the class to discuss it with her friends.

"Hey Tasha.what's up where have you been??". Fender asked

"Well,i have been with Desmond"

"Awnnnnn.wow we are happy to hear that lover girl or should I say Juliet.so how's your Romeo". Fender asked

"Fender please just stop.Desmond came to confront me about what I told Brenda and he told me that he would never end up with a girl like me".

"wow.am sure that little brat has something to do with this". one of her friends said

"Exactly,look guys I need us to really deal with this girl else she will keep crossing her boundaries".Tasha said

"what do you want us to do" .They asked her.

"So what we are going to is that we are going to carry Fender's wrist watch and put it in Brenda's bag.then we will report that his watch is missing and we need to search everyone's bag.Then we will bring the watch out of Brenda's bag and announce to the class that she's a thief.this way,we will get Desmond to hate her.".

"bravo Tasha that is a very good idea. but how are we going to put the watch in her bag that she won't see us?". Fender asked

"well,maybe when it's time for break we won't go out but we will wait immediately she steps out,we will put the watch in her bag then report the case immediately break is over". Tasha was not only intelligent academically,she was very cunning. They all agreed on this plan and each person promised that they won't back out. The time they were waiting for finally came.it was time for break and Brenda and her friends went to the library to read unaware of the what was coming ahead of her.Immediatelly everyone left the class,Fender removed his watch and put it in Brenda's bag and then went out with his crew to their usual spot. Immediately everyone came back from the break,Fender pretended to be looking for something in his bag then he went to the proprietor's office to report that he couldn't find his watch and immediately,the proprietor sent for Miss Royce

"Good morning Miss Royce" greeted.

"Morning sir" she replied.

"Fender here just came to report that his watch is missing.Please I want you to do everything you can to make sure he finds his watch even if it includes searching the students bag"

"Ok sir.i will do that right away". Miss Royce left with Fender immediately and they both went to his class.

"Good morning class" she greeted

"morning Miss Royce" they replied

"So Fender here came to report that his watch is missing.If you know you took his watch or have seen it somewhere please kindly return it to him"

"Ma'am I think you should search our bags because some thiefs will never return the watch on their own" . Tasha said.

"Ok Tasha thanks for the idea.So Fender and I are going to search your bags. Please all of you should step out". The class became a little bit noisy as some of them started murmuring.When they had all step out Mrs Royce and Fender started searching each student's bag.Then Fender shouted almost immediately

"Ma'am I found it"

"where did you find it Fender"??. She asked wondering who could have taken the watch

"I don't know who's bag is this".

"Who owns this bag"?? . She asked the students who were now making a hell of noise.At this point Brenda was already in tears.She wondered who could have done such a wicked act.The fear of what her mother would do to her if she found out she was accused of stealing made her cry the more.

"It's mine ma......" Brenda managed to say

"You"?? why did you did you take his watch Brenda?. what came over you.I have always known you to be a good girl??"". Miss Royce was shocked to the bone marrow and didn't even know what to say.

"Ma'am I didn't take the watch.Am sure someone must have put it in my my". She managed to say amidst tears.
