Brenda was a young beautiful girl who was nineteen.She was still in the her high school and looked forward to going to tertiary institution even though she wasn't sure of her fate.She lived in a small town with her parents that were not well to do.Her mother Mrs Carrie Henry was a caretaker and her father Mr Henry Smith was a company driver.She was the first child out of four children.Though her parents were not wealthy but she was satisfied with what she had.She worked very hard in school to make good grades and she always came in flying colors.

Whenever she was back from school,she always assisted her mother in taking care of the kids and she always made food for her siblings. Brenda was a student of marvel high school and she was one of the best in her class and n the school as well.Although most of her classmates made fun of her because of her status but some of them like Tracy,Ivory and Edwards were her closest friends and always wanted to learn from her.One day, during one of their classes,Brenda was asked to answer a question by their Biology teacher who was named Miss Royce.Miss Royce was an elegant woman who had a very good body physique.She was loved by most of her students because of her competence and sense of dressing.After writing the questions on the board,she pointed to each of them in the class to answer questions.Brenda was asked to define homeostasis.As she stood up to answer the question,one of mocked her. "o s**t the poor girl wanna impress all of us.i see let's have it' Fender said and the rest started laughing at her as while.Then Miss Royce brought the class to order. "Y'all do not have any right to mock anyone just because of her background. if you were all in her shoes how would you feel"???. "well her shoes are too old and dirty to seize me so I can never be in her shoes" replied Fender.Although Brenda was a little bit hurt but she decided to be resilient,no Matter the situation she found herself in.Then she answered the question and was applauded by some of her classmates. after that Miss Royce asked fender a question he was unable to answer it. then she advised them to put more efforts in studying hard for their examination that was fourth coming. then the class was over for the day.

when Brenda got home she narrated everything that had happen in school to her mother. although the mother was a little bit hurt but she advised Brenda never to give up but to work hard and make the family proud.The Brenda promised her that you would do her best and make the family proud. she studied like never before because her examination we are fast approaching.
