Debbie's eyes opened with a flutter- for a moment she was confused, not remembering what had happened, then the large leather sofa she sat on brought her back to reality.
"Edward." She said loudly, looking around for him frantically.
"Debbie." He said, coming up to her, handing her a glass of water. She looked at him, confused.
"Drink it- You'll feel better." He said. Debbie took the glass in her hands and sipped slowly, then as her eyes gazed around the office, she realized where she was.
"What are we doing here?" She said, recognizing the room slowly.
"I brought you to a safe place- as promised." Edward said, taking a seat beside her. Debbie moved away.
