Seraphina Seriously I thought as I left the Vampire 101 class. I guess I should have known he would be in that class, after all, every single werewolf is. But there is absolutely no way he is in my next class: Werewolf 101. I checked my campus map to recall where it was being held. Preferring to be the first one in the class so I could have my choice in seats, I hustled to the class.           Entering the classroom, I found My BFF Faith already in the room not choosing a seat yet knowing my preference. I chose the seat closest to the teacher’s desk, so I could easily ask questions to the teacher or TA after class. That put me right next to the TA’s desk with Faith plopping down on the other side of me. The rest of the class sped in at the last second since they were vampires and extremely fast. James attempted to sit next to me but seeing how the drooling Faith was too stunned by his handsomeness to move and the empty seat belongs to the TA he gave up and instead sat next to his friends in the back of the classroom. I let out a relived sigh glad to not have to deal with him in this class. I opened my stylish white designer backpack with a soft gold accent as well as a mini backpack pouch and pulled out my note book and a mechanical pencil ready to take notes.           The teacher walked in and said “Good morning class, I am your teacher for Werewolf 101. My name is Kieran Hrodwulf the Delta in the Dawnfall Shadows pack. As you should already know The Dawnfall Shadows pack is the pack that is led by High Alpha Val Makian who is the ruler of all the North American Werewolves. My Teacher’s Aid is Zuko Makian son of Val Makian. As if on queue in walked Zuko the very handsome Native American person who helped me out of my car. My cheeks flushed bright red as I realized the teacher made our current seats our assigned ones which means he is going to be seated right next to me on my left. OMG!  I thought I don’t think I can survive sitting next to a hunk like that. Part of me whished I sat one seat away. Part of me. One teeny weensy part of me cause the rest of me knew that James would have taken that seat. Now that I think about it I prefer this drop-dead handsome hunk to James. Omg he is speaking, I thought to myself. “As Delta said I am the son of the High Alpha, feel free to ask me questions about the lessons anytime.” Zuko said. He then proceeded to wink, I repeat wink at me or at least I think it was me. “All right,” Delta Kieran Hrodwulf said, “Zuko you can sit right next to…” He paused as he checked his role. “Seraphina? Right?” I nodded knowing my voice probably would not work. The brightest smile lit up his face and I had to bite my lip to prevent myself from grinning like an i***t. After Zuko took his seat the Delta proceeded with his overview. “I expect you to call me Delta or Mr. Hrodwulf nothing else. Now that we got that out of the way I shall proceed. Werewolves what do you know of them?” He asked. I immediately raised my hand. “Yes Seraphina” “Werewolves are humans who have the capability to change into wolves. Commonly found in packs werewolves have a hierarchy of an Alpha being the head or leader, the Beta being the second and is typically put in charge when the alpha is predisposed, and the Delta the third in charge who is normally sent on missions. Rarer and harder to find is the Omega, a werewolf with the unique ability to calm a wild or upset werewolf.”           “Wow! You really did all your research Seraphina” Delta said. I beamed at the praise. “Now is there anyone else” He asked. James raised his hand “Werewolves are mere animals, scum that trample all over this beautiful school. They are just mentally and physically dogs.” Zuko let out a loud growl interrupting James and getting him to stop talking. “While I would appreciate that you keep your personal opinion out of your answer, I expected such an answer.” Delta said, “The animals you seem to be describing are werewolves who have lost control of their wolf becoming a mere dog as you said. Werewolves in this school however have not lost control of their wolves and instead coexist with their wolves. As I am sure you noticed Zuko here,” he said pointing at Zuko, “growled at you. In actuality, his wolf is the one that took offence and growled. When his wolf took control his eyes turned gold, that is how you know that you are speaking to the wolf not the man.” Delta continued to talk about werewolves overviewing his lesson plans while I fiercely and using my vampire speed wrote down his lecture word for word. Yes, I am a nerd, I love to learn and honestly, I am very curious about werewolves. I am especially curious about the werewolf who is currently looking at me.           The bell rang and everyone used their speed to grab their Werewolf 101 books and ran out the door to chat with friends. I instead said “Goodbye” to Faith and turned to Zuko. I worked up the courage to ask him a question, “Um….” I said nervously, “Ya” he said with his husky sounding voice. I gulped, “I was wondering if we could exchange numbers so I could ask questions about the class when I need to.” I stammered out. Come on girl get ahold of yourself what is wrong with you.  I thought to myself. He gave me a dazzling smile, “Of course” he said getting his phone ready to accept my number. I told him how to spell my name allowed him to take my picture and told him my number. Yes, vampires show up in photos and mirrors, how else can we look so fabulous all the time. I did the same with him and we then left for the rest of our classes.           At the end of the school day I drove home thinking of nothing but driving. I mean yes my day was crazy meeting a certain handsome guy, getting his number and all but I don’t want to end up in a car crash. The reason for that is because my parents died in a car crash. Apparently it was caused by a werewolf but I don’t believe it, after all werewolves tend to shred their victims not cause a car to fly off a cliff rolling down the sloped sides and crashing into countless trees below starting a forest fire which near incinerated my parents. Vampires don’t turn to ashes after being killed.           Safely home I went to my, formerly my parents office and started on math homework. I mean seriously what kind of teacher assigns homework on the first day of school, apparently math teachers.
