The Queen of Wolves

He growls and slams me again this time everyone was staring and I could hear the growls of my parents. He smirks and looks around. “I will never want a muted mate. Even if she was a princess.. I. Markus Koble Gamma of the Willow Bend pack rejects Izzy Snow, daughter of Alpha Marcel Snow to be my mate." His dark eyes were latched onto me as I felt everyone's eyes were on me and what it seems to be my mate. I sighed feeling my heart shatter. "I Izzy Snow, daughter of Alpha Marcel Snow, accepts your rejection." I said not looking at him as the silence around us seemed to be broken. Then it hit me, did I just speak?? And this male was Gamma?? Our Gamma? Anger filled throughout the room and it wasn’t from him it was from my parents and my brother. This poor male had instant regret on his choice as he realized what happened that his now ex mate was no longer mute.  

I moved out of his grip but he held on, my father started talking to him yelling and my brother came behind me talking to me but I wasn’t listening as they started to fight, there was a ringing in my ear and it was blocking my hearing. I could feel my legs getting weak as I looked at the man in front of me. It seemed like he had regret in his eyes, or was it anger? I was so confused as I felt myself being pulled away from his touch, instead of it burning with sparks of fire and joy it was nothing. The bond was really broken, I was a mateless female and didn’t have a mate at this moment. It starting to hurt my heart before the ringing in my ear made my cry out in pain. I felt my body drop as I screamed hard covering my ears. My lungs were burning as I felt hands around me and then a sharp pain and then nothing but pure darkness.

“Izzy?” Then she hit the ground screaming in pain covering her ears, the pack healer was called over as she took a needle covered what it looks like blood or some type of berry color, she stabbed my sisters neck as she takes a deep breath and then finally removed her hands from my sisters neck. “I’m sorry, she is knocked out. A simple pressure point on her shoulder is what she needed to sleep. She just got rejected and it is affecting her and her wolf. Let alone she was just released from a heavy blood curse.”  He said, looking at my sister with sadden eyes. 

*Cursed… She was cursed Xander a blood curse at that! Who does that??* I was panicking as I ran over to her and held her. She was ice cold but I could feel her chest moving up and down. I take a small breath of relief as I look at my parents and then her ex-mate who was speechless. He was staring at her and it made my blood boil. And without a second thought I stand up and punch him in the face. “You bastard!!” Another punch. “You betrayed her.” Another. “You damn near killed her!” Another one. This time there was blood coming out of the man's nose. “You are no longer Gamma! You are not even a warrior!” I screamed at him as I felt arms pulling me off of him. 

“No let me kill him!!.” He looked at me with fear and sorrow in his eyes. “You better hope she wakes up and you better hope that she doesn’t order your head on a spike.”
