The Queen of Wolves

"Push Luna. Push!" An omega said as the candles around the flicker and move as the screams of a woman giving birth echo throughout the castle. "Yes one more!" She said looking at the beautiful peach skinned woman before her. "One more! Push as hard as you can." She said as the woman gives another push and blood falls on the ground indicating a baby was born. "Congrats your highness, you have a beautiful baby girl." She said wrapping her in linen.  "Give me my baby." The woman said holding out her hands, the omega looks at the newborn pup and furrows her brow. "What is it Silvia?" The woman asked worriedly in her olive green eyes.  "Nothing my lady! It's just I've never seen a pup not cry." She said as she hands the young girl to the mother. The woman looks at her and smiles warmly. "Besides her being a quiet baby, is there anything else wrong?" She asked and the omega shakes her head no. "My lady is perfectly healthy and for sure has a wolf in her. Congrats my lady, on an alpha female second born to you and your husband." She said as the husband came in.  "Is the pup born yet?" He asked, looking at his happy wife with a little bundle in her arms. "Marcel! Come and say hello to your daughter." She said happily as she offered her hand to him. He smiles and walks over and smiles. "Our princess is finally here." he said as he kissed his wife's head. "will we name her?" He asked, looking at  his newborn pup smile at him and the Luna smiles at them both. "Izzy after your mother." she said as cheer broke out through the room causing joy to erupt throughout the pack and kingdom. The princess was born!   *18 years later*  "Izzy Summer Snow come down here for a surprise!!" Her brother Max said banging on the door of her room. Izzy growls a little bit as she, huffs her green eyes slowly opening as she huffs looking at her window. She could see the stars shining still and the crescent moon was still up. *Max!! I'm tired!! It is still night time.* She mind-linked him as she got up wearing a white nightgown,she looked at her door seeing her brother there smiling at her. *What?* She thought to him as she narrowed her green eyes.  "Don't *what* me! Mother and Father have requested you in the royal hall." He said as he smirked, closing the door. *Get dressed into the most pretty dress you have. Mothers orders.* She cut off the link and growled a little bit. She looks into the mirror and starts to fix up her raven black hair that matched perfectly with a purple long dress with silver trim. Her raven hair was braided to the side as she looked at herself and smiled as she felt herself get wobbly.   *W-what??* She thought to herself as she held her body against the stone wall of her room. Her head was throbbing as she closed her eyes to stop herself from getting sick. Then a soft gentle voice came into her head. It was like a soft whisper of a motherly voice, very close to her own mother. *Hello young one.*  *H-Hello! Are you my wolf??* She smiles brightly as she starts to walk out of her chambers. She could feel her wolf chuckle as her wolf paced around her head. *Yes little one, my name is Rieyn.* Izzy smiled even more hearing her name. *That is very beautiful! What do you look like? When can we shift??* There were so many questions but only little time to answer them before she finally made it to the throne room.  *Mother and Father* She mind-link them as she bows a little bit, with her hand over her chest. She looked up at them, seeing them very happy to see her. “Izzy you know you never ever have to be formal around us, we are happy you are awake my daughter. But we have to announce this quickly. It is time to announce a royal ball for you to find your mate and take your place as Queen.” Her mother said looking at her father than at her. “It will be an announcement to the whole pack after you find your mate.” She said as she took her father's hand and gently kissed.  “That is right my flower, we don’t want your mate to only be around for the crown. We know plenty of people who were rejected because of the crown or because of not having the crown. And we want you and your mate to be happy before you take the responsibility of the crown.” He said looking at his daughter with pride.  Izzy looked at them confused on why she would be picked for the crown. *Thank you so much for honor, but what about Max? He is the oldest, I am only the second born child. I should have been picked for Beta?* She thought with fear in her link.  Max smiles as he looks at his little sister, “not today little sis. I will begin taking over beta. The crown is not for me and I rather help you rule than rule on my own.” He said walking over and hugging her. “You are my baby sister and better fit to rule than I am.”
