Herdon was watching television at their sala while Cassandra is taking a bath upstairs when his cellphone rang. He hesitated to answer the call when he saw that it was Gerry. But he knew that he needed to take the call.
"Gerry," he answered.
"Meet me when your wife leaves," Gerry said.
"Look, I know I have a big debt but I already told you that I will pay when—"
"You have to meet me if you still want to see your wife alive," then Gerry ended the call.
