Clay was crying after telling everything to Cassandra. But Cassandra was shaking her head continuously. She doesn't believe every word that came out of Clay.
"I-I'm s-sorry... I should have told you about my debt... I should have trusted you. But no, I am just a coward," sniffs Clay.
"Hmmmpphh!" Cassandra struggled again. She wanted Clay to remove her muzzle so she can speak.
Clay knew what Cassandra wants.
"You promise not to shout? You promise to talk to me without making a noise?" Clay wants to remove the muzzle too. He wanted to know Cassandra's thoughts.
Cassandra nodded. Clay went near him and he removed the muzzle. His hands felt that Cassandra's cheek was wet. He knew that she cried.
"Y-you rethink I will buy... all your l-lies? And who do you think will believe y—"
