I wake up well-rested, but anxious for the doctor to check on Colton this morning. He fell asleep not long after we arrived at Alexander and Maribel's and slept all evening and all night. He even slept through supper. It's highly unusual for my boy to miss out on a meal. When I went to check on him before I went to my room for the night I found Tatum asleep next to him. Colton was lying under the covers while Tay was on top of them snuggled under a blanket that looked a lot like the one she used to carry around when she was three. I should probably have sent her to her room, but I didn't have the heart to do it. They both looked so peaceful and seemed to be resting well, so I quietly closed the door and went to my room.
