Adam woke up before the sun came up. Glancing down he saw Sarah still asleep pressed against his side with an arm tightly around him. He noticed that she slept peacefully compared to last night, were she talked in her sleep and her face contorted in pain. 'Poor woman must be exhausted.' Adam thought as he watched her sleep. HIs heart skipped a beat watching this beautiful woman sleep peacefully. He felt something for Sarah, but could not understand why he felt this way. He had just met Sarah yesterday and he felt sure she loved Joshua, but Sarah shared a connection with him. Adam slowly climbed out of bed trying not to wake Sarah. Once out of bed, he tucked the blankets around Sarah to keep her warm. He quietly dressed and walked downstairs to the kitchen. An orange colored cat greeted him from the kitchen table. "Good morning Tom." Adam whispered to the cat, "Bet you are hungry." The cat meowed lightly and jumped from the table onto the floor. Adam made a small breakfast for himself and Tom. Sitting down at the table, he wrote a note from Sarah. Placing a loaf of bread, butter and milk on the table next to the letter, Adam stood up and looked down at Tom. "Guard her well Tom." Adam instructed as he knelt next to the cat and scratched behind his ear. Standing back up, Adam grabbed his coat. He checked the pockets to ensure his pistol, knife and other tools of his trade. Feeling good about having his items, Adam walked outside into the early cool morning of Salem. Already people were moving about the town. Adam heard the dock whistle as a ship pulled into the harbor. Several people wished Adam good morning and he did the same. Scanning the streets, Adam did not see anything out of the ordinary. Everything looked normal along his street. Heading of to the docks, he felt an odd sensation of someone watched him. Turning around he noticed a person in an old torn cloak, huddled against the wall of a house. He watched the person for a moment, studying them. The cloak covered the person face, but they held out a slim dirty hand with a wooden bowl. 'Must be a beggar,' Adam thought eyeing the beggar carefully. With a sigh of relief, Adam felt satisfied that the beggar did not look his way. Adam relaxed and turned around walking towards the docks. The beggar looked up and Dana narrowed her eyes at Adam from beneath the dirty cloak. She turned her gaze towards the house and shuddered in fear as she saw an orange colored cat staring at her with jade green eyes from the window. Sarah felt the warmth of the sun tickling her face. She moved a bit and snuggling her face into the pillow, enjoying the warmth of the sun. She stretched lazily under the warm blankets not wanting to open her eyes. Something felt odd about the bed. She moved her legs and discovered this bed was bigger. Opening her eyes, she expected to see the small window her room, but she looked around to see an unfamiliar place. The room was bigger than her room at the Covent. The bed she saw would fit two people comfortably. Swallowing she felt panic grip her. She gripped the blankets around herself tightly as her drowsily mind tired to figure out where she was at. 'Calm down Sarah,' Sarah thought, 'You have to remember where you are at." Thinking hard, last night's events rushed into her mind. She remembered she was in Adam's house, that he rescued her and she blushed suddenly knowing what they had done last night. Sarah also giggled, remembering how alive her body had felt. Feeling better about her situation, Sarah looked around the room curiosity replacing the panic. The room looked tidy with a wardrobe in the corner, a desk with a chair against a wall. At the edge of the bed sat an orange tabby cat with jade green eyes. Sarah jumped, startled by the cat's presence. The cat stared at Sarah while lying on its paws. "Hello kitty," Sarah said softly reaching out with her hand. "You startled me." The cat sat up and stretched, then walked over to Sarah meowing. The cat rubbed its head against her hand and Sarah giggled as the soft fur tickled her hand. When she touched the cat, she felt a connection with this cat. Pulling her hand away as if shocked, she rubbed the palm of her hand at the odd sensation running through her hand. Her eyebrow's furrowed trying to understand what just happened, Sarah thought she saw a vision of her petting this cat in the same bed, but the room looked different. 'Well that is strange,' Sarah thought still staring at her hand as the vision faded before she could understand it. The orange colored cat woke her from her thoughts when he rubbed against her arm. Sarah shook her head and stroked the cat's back. Afterwards Sarah stretched upward feeling a shiver run through her sore body. She realized that she had slept the whole night without the typical death nightmares. "Hello?" Sarah called out realizing that the room was empty and quiet. Looking down Sarah noticed her naked body and exposed breast. She quickly covered herself with the blanket and blushed. She climbed out of bed, pulling the blanket around herself. he thought of Adam on top of her, kissing her flooded her mind and Sarah bit her lower lip, feeling warmth between her legs. 'I can't believe that happened last night. It felt so wonderful.' Sarah thought rubbing her index finger over her lips as she felt his lips on hers. She found a washbasin with clean water in it. She used the cloth to clean her face and hands. Glancing around the room, she discovered one of Adam's shirts hanging over a chair. She dropped the blanket and pulled it over her head. The long sleeved shirt fell just below her curvy bottom and the open front exposed the tops of her breast. Glancing around, Sarah excitedly found a woman's hairbrush on the desk. The brush had an ivory handle with decorative scrollwork carved into it. 'Why would Adam have this?' Sarah thought giving the hairbrush a confused look. Sarah reached out and touched the handle of the elegant brush. A sensation of familiarity passed from the brush through her arm and up into her brain. She quickly jerked her hand back holding it close to her body as if the brush had shocked her. It was the same feeling when she had touched the cat. 'What is going on?' Sarah thought and tentatively reached out touching the handle with her fingertips. To her surprise, nothing happened. Slowly she wrapped her hand around the carved handle and picked up the brush. Shrugging she looked closely at the carved artwork. She saw angels flying among the clouds carved into the ivory. The delicate artwork continued up the back of the brush. The brush seemed antique in nature. 'Why would he have such a brush?' Sarah thought. She ran the brush through her long golden hair. It felt wonderful to remove the knots and snags from last night. Sarah hummed to herself softly as she brushed out her hair. With a deep sigh, she felt better about her hair while looking in the mirror. She shuttered as she saw the faint bruises on her neck and cheeks from last night. A vision of Lilith with her burnt face leaning over caused Sarah shiver with fear. Sarah could feel Lilith's fingers tightening around her neck. Sarah also remembered Lilith calling her a white witch, born of nature. In addition, she had felt that warm sensation traveling up her arm before she struck Lilith. A small smile came to her face remembering how Lilith had screamed in pain from the blow. "She deserved it." Sarah said softly, "I hoped it hurt." The growling of her stomach brought her back to reality. She stood up and walked downstairs as the tabby cat rubbed against her leg. "Hello?" Sarah called out looking around the living room and kitchen. Everything was tidy and neat. She almost thought a woman lived here, but besides the hairbrush, Sarah did not see any other sign of a woman living here. On the table, she noticed bread, butter, and milk sitting out for her. A piece of paper had words written upon it. Sarah picked up the note feeling the familiar presence of Adam. She read the note: 'Had to go out and talk to a friend. Make yourself at home. I left some food for you on the table.' Adam' The longer she held onto the paper the familiar Adam came to her. She could envision him sitting at this table, the room in semi-darkness and Adam wearing his clothes with jacket and high boots. The vision left her quickly as her stomach growled again. As her vision returned to the present, she felt dizzy and weak. With a shaky hand, she lowered herself into a chair. She cut a slice of bread and buttered it. Taking a small bite, the taste of the bread made her ravenous. Sarah quickly stuffed the bread in her mouth enjoying the butter and bread together. Swallowing she poured some milk for herself and heard the cat meowing. Noticing a small bowl on the ground, she stooped over, and poured some for the cat. The cat purred happily, as it licked the milk. Sarah drank from the cup and glanced around the house. While Sarah ate her breakfast, Adam stepped into the "Brew's Head' Tavern near the Salem docks. The tavern had a dark, old look to it. Only a few of the local townspeople inhabited the tavern this morning. As Adam entered, the two men standing by the bar waved to Adam. Adam waved back and scanned the room until he found what he was looking for. He saw the old man sitting in a corner with a wide brim hat pulled over his eyes. A pipe stuck out from beneath the hat. Adam walked past the two men towards the old man. "There had better be a drink with that question, boy." The old man growled from behind his hat. Adam shook his head and looked over at the tavern owner. The owner nodded and brought over ale and water as Adam sat down. The old man pulled the tankard towards him and took a long drink. "Can we talk now Samuel?" Adam asked paying the tavern owner and leaning back in a chair. "I have questions and I believe you have answers." "What could be so urgent that you had to find me this morning?" Samuel grumbled. Adam leaned forward and whispered, "There are red eyed witches in Salem." "What did you say?" Samuel coughed spitting up some ale. The two men at the bar looked over from their drinks. "Damn it Samuel, you heard me," Adam responded, "I saw them last night in front of my house. They were trying to capture a woman." "Woman, what woman?" Samuel said looking up unexpectedly. "What about the witches?" Adam asked confused. "Forget about the witches, describe the woman you rescued." Samuel said waving his hand. "She reaches up to my chest, has white skin, golden hair, like it was touched by the sun..." Samuel interrupted Adam. "What about her eyes?" Samuel asked urgently. "They were hazel, a rather nice color." Adam said with a shrug. "Did they seem different to you?" Samuel pressed on. Adam thought for a moment and remembered how they had looked in the candle light while they were kissing. "There were gold flecks behind the hazel color and some imes they did look golden color.' Adam said slowly. "Hmm," Samuel said stroking his chin. "What do you mean by hmm?" Adam blurted out, "What does Sarah have to do with this?" "I need to research something at the church." Samuel said standing up, "Keep that woman safe, she is more important than life itself." Adam grabbed Samuel's sleeve, "She said they were going to sacrifice her to bring back the Nephilim." Adam saw Samuel blanch and stop, "What did you just say?" "Nephilim," Adam repeated, "They were going to sacrifice her." "Things have become a lot worse." Samuel said to himself then he looked back at Adam, "I repeat keep the woman safe." "Why is she important? Why are you going to the church?" Adam questioned Samuel as he pulled his sleeve out of Adam's grasp. Adam could only watch as Samuel hurried out of the tavern. Adam threw his hand's up in frustration at the old man's cryptic message. The other patrons watched Samuel hurry out of the tavern and looked at Adam in confusion. "Is everything ok Adam," One of the patrons asked. "Yes," Adam sighed, "Samuel is being strange as always." 'What has gotten into him? I have never seen him this shaken.' Adam thought scratching his head. "Thomas," Adam called out looking over his shoulder. "Yes Adam, what can I do for you?" The tavern owner answered. "Is Margret at the market today?" Adam asked. "I believe so," Thomas said rubbing his chin, "Why?" "No reason," Adam replied standing up and stretching, "I wanted to buy something from her." "I bet you do Adam." The other patron laughed and took a deep drink from his tankard. Adam shook his head, waved to everyone and walked out of the tavern heading for the open market. Sarah walked around the entire house amazed by how neat and clean it looked. In the enclosed small backyard, she found a wooden tub. Excited by the prospects of a bath, she looked around for the well pump. She really wanted to get the smell of the marsh off her. 'The servants at the Covent always...,' Sarah thought, but stopped when she thought about Daisy. Feeling a tear run down her cheek, Sarah wiped it away. She busied herself using the well pump to fill the tub trying not to think about Daisy. She now realized how much work was involved to pump the water into the wooden tub. Her muscles felt sore and tired from the effort. Taking a deep breath, Sarah shook out her arms. She placed a finger into the water and shivered as she felt the cold water. Sneezing lightly a thought came to her, 'Lilith call me a white witch?' Looking around cautiously, Sarah stuck her finger back into the water and closed her eyes. "Make my water warm." She whispered and then held her breath. She did not even feel the same sensation from last night. Letting out a sigh of disappointment, Sarah pulled off the long shirt and shivered. She thought for sure that it would work. 'Well some witch I am.' Sarah thought sighing deeply in disappointment, 'I just wanted warm water, is that too much to ask for.' Stepping into the cold water, Sarah shivered again feeling goose bumps rise up on her arms. Sarah washed her body. It felt good to wash of the smell of the marsh. After the bath, Sarah pulled Adam's shirt back on and emptied the tub. She walked back into the house sneezing again. When she entered through the kitchen door, she heard the front door opening and she froze in fear. Her heart pounded in her chest and felt panic take hold of her. Adam opened the front door and step inside. He saw Sarah standing by the kitchen door with a look of fear on her face. Quickly he scanned the room for any intruders, but did not see any. Looking back at Sarah, he felt a feeling of familiarity as he saw her in his long shirt. He noticed how the shirt formed around her breast and how her n*****s stood out as small bumps. Her golden hair shined brightly as the sun illuminated it around her like a halo. 'Dear god, she is beyond beautiful.' Adam thought and swallowed hard. Sarah let out a sigh of relief upon seeing Adam at the door. She watched him as he looked around the room. She noticed how he looked at her and she felt a blush creep into her cheeks. He had several parcels in his arms including flowers. "Umm," Sarah said trying to find her voice, "You're back. Thank you for the bread." "I bought some items for dinner." Adam spoke finding his own voice. "Oh I found these for you too. They are..." "Sunflowers," Sarah finished his sentence, "Those are my favorite, and how did you know?" "I did not know, I thought they had the same color as your hair and..." Sarah interrupted him by walking up to him. She stood on her tiptoes and kissed him lightly on the lips. Adam feeling the passion from last night, placed the items on the table, put one arm behind her back, and pulled her close. He kissed her soft lips and ran his other hand down her back, cupping her soft bottom. Sarah moaned lightly and pressed herself against his hard body. She felt his erection pressing against her stomach through his pants as she kissed him. Sarah did not know why she felt this way, but her heart and body responded Adam, who she barely knew. Adam kissed in a way that set her body on fire. 'His kisses feel so right and perfect.' Sarah thought as she kissed him back. "Sit down Adam," Sarah whispered as she stopped kissing him and urgently pulled at his pants. "I want you now." Adam help Sarah unbuckle his pants and he sat down in a chair. He looked into her hazel eyes and saw those flecks of gold. He watched her as she straddled him. Sarah bit on her lower lip and swallowed as she held his organ. She slowly lowered herself onto his erection. 'What am I doing?' Sarah thought, 'Why does he make me feel this way?' Sarah let out a loud gasp of pleasure as she slowly sank onto his shaft. Adam placed his hands on her hips and help guide the rest of his organ deep into her. He gritted his teeth feeling the tightness of her around his hardness. Sarah held still for a moment, enjoying the feeling. She pulled off the shirt and placed her hands on his shoulders. Breathing heavy, Sarah lifted herself up and then plunged herself back down on his shaft. She moaned in pleasure as Adam groaned throwing back his head. Sarah repeated the same thing, lifting her hips and plunging herself onto his erection again. Adam leaned in and took a n****e between his lips. Sarah gasped aloud as pleasure ripped through her body. Adam sucked on the n****e and swirled his tongue around it as Sarah thrust herself on his hardness. He felt himself sink deeper into her every time she lowered herself. Sarah pushed her body closer to his and Adam gripped her bottom tightly. He thrust his hips hard, pushing himself deep into her. Sarah moaned loudly holding his shoulders as his organ pumped deep into her. She heard the slap of her skin smacking against his as he thrust himself into her. She felt the familiar feeling of pleasure building in her body. She gripped his shoulders tightly and gritted her teeth. Suddenly she threw back her head and cried out. It felt like her body was floating and ripples of pleasure washed over her sweaty body. She clung to Adam as he pushed deeper into her. Adam stopped thrusting and pulled her off his shaft. 'What's the matter?" Sarah asked breathing heavy and looking confused. "Nothing, I want to continue this upstairs." Adam replied with a smirk. He stood up and with a quick motion picked Sarah up in his arms. Sarah let out a shriek of laughter and kissed Adam as he carried her up the stairs. Once in the bedroom, Adam laid her on the bed. Sarah lied down and spread her legs. Adam shook his head, grabbed one of her legs, and flipped her onto her stomach. Adam took a pillow and placed it under Sarah hips, lifting them up slightly. He moved between her legs from behind and spread her legs farther apart. Adam grabbed his organ and rubbed it between her legs as Sarah looked back. He leaned over and gently bit her bottom. Sarah squealed in delight. With a single motion, Adam thrust himself back into Sarah. Sarah cried out in pleasure, it felt different from this position. He seemed to touching different parts of her. She gripped the bed sheet tightly and cried aloud again as he pulled back and thrust into her hard. Adam watched as her bottom moved from his hard contact. He laid his sweaty body against hers, running his hand up her arms, and lacing his fingers between hers. She gripped his fingers hard as he plunged himself deeply into her repeatedly. He felt as if he would lose himself in her. He nestled his face into her golden hair and breathed in the earthly flower scent. Sarah could not stop moaning loudly with each of his thrust. The pleasure felt almost too much to take as he plunged deeply into her. She buried her face into a pillow and screamed loudly in pleasure. Her body felt as if on fire from the intense orgasm that ripped through her body. Adam continued to thrust into her. She heard his breathing become shallow and rapid. She felt sweat running between her cleavage and back. She felt his thrust become more urgent and short. "Please do it in me again." Sarah breathed out between gritted teeth. Adam felt her body shaking under him as he heard her cry out again. He thought he heard her sobbing with pleasure. Then she asked him to do it to her again. Adam felt himself close to his own climax, pushed faster into her. With one finally thrust he cried out in his own pleasure. Sarah gripped his hands tightly as he throbbed deep into her. Adam held himself deep within her, not wanting to move. When Adam could catch his breath, he slowly pulled out of her. He shivered, as he felt sensitive organ pull out of her. He rolled onto his back next to Sarah. Sarah felt paralyzed with pleasure. She turned her head and smiled at Adam as he looked at her. She willed her trembling body to move close to Adam. She laid her head on his chest, listening to the beat of his heart. 'What is going on with me?' Sarah thought drowsy, 'I feel as though we are one person.' Fear ran through her body and mind at this thought. Everything felt strange and new to her. She felt her eyes closing and before she knew it, she fell asleep. Adam glanced over at her and saw Sarah asleep. Oddly, he noticed that the bruises from last night had faded, leaving no marks on her perfect white skin. He clearly remembered dark bruises on her. 'She must be a quick healer.' Adam thought. Shrugging, he pulled the blankets over the two of them and closed his eyes.
