“Hey… what’s that? Where are you going, Allyna? I thought you and Ram were already separated!” Jessa asked.
She had just arrived, carrying ingredients for cooking. She was planning to invite her friend for a snack, but it seemed like bad timing—Allyna looked like she was about to go somewhere.
Allyna was dressed in simple jeans paired with a black blouse.
The black blouse perfectly matched the mourning in her heart.
“Don’t tell me you’re going back to that Ram… your soon-to-be ex-husband,” Jessa added.
“I need to go back there, Jessa… I left all my things there,” Allyna said, avoiding her friend’s sharp gaze.
But more than her belongings, what remained in Allyna’s heart was hope.
Hope that maybe if they talked, things could still be fixed.
Maybe it was her fault.
Maybe she was lacking something.
Maybe Ram did what he did because there was something she failed to give him.
Allyna was busy fixing herself in front of the mirror. They were inside her room.
Jessa sighed deeply.
“I need to do this, Jessa… I want closure with Ram.”
“But friend… what if you only get hurt more? Shouldn’t you just accept it already?” Jessa asked worriedly.
“For the last time, I just want us to talk properly… maybe I did something wrong… or maybe I wasn’t enough,” Allyna said sadly.
Jessa just shook her head. If only her friend had learned to love Tim before, maybe she wouldn’t be suffering like this.
All she got from Ram was pain.
It was only temporary love.
Jessa felt deep sympathy for her friend.
Ram was the one at fault, yet Allyna was still the one going to him.
But she knew—Allyna still loved Ram. And it wasn’t easy to just let go.
Allyna put down her hairbrush and was about to leave the room when she suddenly froze.
Standing in front of her was Shane.
She was already inside their small home, scanning their living room with a disgusted, arrogant expression—as if the place offended her eyes.
It was obvious on her face—disdain.
What could Allyna possibly be proud of compared to Shane?
If it was wealth, she had nothing to say. Shane was an heiress, just like Ram. They lived in a world where everything was within reach.
“Excuse me, I already brought all your things from Ram’s house… just in case you still plan to go back and squeeze yourself into my boyfriend’s life,” Shane said coldly.
“Boyfriend… so it’s confirmed they’re together,” Allyna thought bitterly.
Shane was wearing a short skirt and a revealing tube top—clothes that screamed confidence and boldness.
Maybe Ram liked that kind of woman. She was nothing like Allyna.
“Boys, bring all that trash inside… we need to dispose of it before it starts stinking in my car,” Shane ordered, glancing at Allyna from head to toe.
Bodyguards entered, all in uniform, carrying Allyna’s belongings in large bags.
She hadn’t been able to take everything when she left—because she had still hoped things would be fixed between her and Ram.
She still believed they might reconcile.
Maybe she really was a martyr… still hoping for a man who had already let her go.
“Who are you to talk to me like that, Shane? You’re inside my house. If I want to, I can throw you out right now!” Allyna snapped.
“Wow, so brave,” Shane smirked. “You know why Ram left you? Just by looking at you… I can see how boring you are. Unlike me—he’s excited whenever he’s with me. I don’t even know why he married you in the first place when it was bound to fail anyway. If it were me from the start, he would’ve enjoyed life more.”
“Is that what my husband told you? Then go ahead—enjoy each other all you want! For all I care! Now get out of my house before I throw all my things in your face and forget that you even exist, you fake woman! Tell Ram I’m happy for both of you! Rot in hell together!” Allyna shouted, her face burning with rage. Jessa had to hold her back from behind.
“Actually… your husband is amazing in bed, Allyna. If only you knew how he takes me to heaven, you’d go crazy,” Shane laughed loudly. “Goodbye, Allyna.”
Shane left, laughing like a madwoman.
Allyna collapsed into Jessa’s arms, crying uncontrollably.
She couldn’t understand how Ram could throw away everything they had for a woman like that.
And now, even her things were treated like garbage—just dumped back at her doorstep.
At least her family wasn’t home. If they were, things could have been worse.
So she chose to keep everything hidden.
If Ram had truly replaced her with Shane… there was nothing left for her to fight for.
She was exhausted from loving him.
Completely exhausted.
“I want my marriage with Ram Steven Contreras annulled as soon as possible. What you and Shane did to me only proved one thing—there’s nothing left to save between us.”
“I give up, Ram… I’m tired of loving you.”
