I woke up from the sunlight peeking in my window. The news was right, it was going to be sunny today. I fixed myself up and was about to head for the door. Until I felt a pain in my head that made me sit on the bed. You got this, you've been doing this for quite sometime now, just bear the pain. I closed my eyes, calmed down and felt the pain leaving my head slowly. When I opened my eyes again, I saw images. Image of Misha's unfortunate accident flooded my vision. I saw her dress and when she fell I just heard my scream. Then it was gone, the pain and the vision. I grabbed my red scarf and went down. I need to convince Misha not to go anywhere. Even though I told Misha countless times that I don't want to go out, she still won and now we're on our way to the lake. The ground was soiled with a mix of snow and dirt. Louis carried the fishing rods and Kenneth had the bait. I had Misha's arms looped around me as I let her cling to me, afraid of to let her leave my side. I know it's today because she was wearing the same outfit that I saw in those images. "Hey... Babe did you and Damian.." she was whispering and I felt nervous. "You know.. Fought?" she asked, still whispering. "What? No. Why'd you ask?" my brows furrowed. She pinched my nose and smiled. "Well... He's not looking at you and... he's had that scowl on his face since we got out." I looked over Damian and saw he was scowling. "I don't know. Nothing happened." I'm not telling her what happened last night. Not yet. "Louis is also in a bad mood. Why are they not enjoying this? Don't they like a little adventure?" I looked at Louis but he was in front walking quietly with Kenneth. What could be his problem?  ************** We reached the lake and it was still ice hard. Louis tapped the lake and confirmed Misha that it was still frozen, she let out a disappointed groan. "How are we going to fish?" Kenneth asked. Misha slumped down to the ground and pouted. I laid the mat we have and sat there, Misha went over to me and acted as if she was crying. "I hate this day." she said while pouting. "Ahah..." it was Seb from behind like he had an idea. I watched Seb go over the tree nearby and when he came back he had a club hammer in his hands. It was probably from someone who also did some fishing here. He smashed a part of the ice lake that made me and Misha flinched. Such force we thought. Some specks of ice got into our clothes but he was doing the trick, it was beginning to have a crack in it. He smashed it again powerfully and it finally broke a hole. "Now you can fish." Seb smiled and placed back the club hammer from where he took it. Misha clapped happily and ordered Louis and Kenneth to start fishing. I went over to Louis and sat beside him looking if he had caught something already. "It's not that easy." He said while I looked into the hole. "How long do you think till you get to fish something from there?" "I told Misha it would take hours, but she kept on bugging me to do it." he said not looking at me, with brows furrowed. "Is there a problem Lou?" I finally asked him, it was obvious in his face. He just sat quietly and scratched the back of his neck. Contemplating whether he'd tell me or not. I punched him softly and he finally smiled. "You know... I had a friend... and that friend has someone he likes." I listened and nodded so he could continue. "He likes this girl, he really did for a long time.. But the girl doesn't know." "Then why don't your friend tell the girl how he feels?" I said like it doesn't seem to be a problem. "It's not that easy.. She seemed to like somebody else." He looked down and I nodded again. "Well tell your friend to stop being a chicken and tell the girl before anything else." I told him with a smile, I couldn't believe he was sulking over his friend, I got up. "And stop scowling, Misha's worried about you." He just smiled weakly. I tapped him lightly on the shoulder and went back to Misha. I saw both Damian and Seb gone again and there's only four of us left. Where do they go anyway? ************** We caught nothing but a few boots and cans after almost four hours of fishing. Louis and Kenneth were napping beside us while Misha sleeps at my lap. It was almost sunset and we wasted our day just like that. It was still fun, we got to talk about so many things, gossip and plans for the upcoming festival in town. I woke them all up and told them we needed to go back before it gets dark. We packed our things and waited for the two men to come. Misha, couldn't wait any longer, decided to go back without them. She told us she'll text Seb that we'll be heading back so we don't have to wait for them. "So you have Seb's number?" I teased her. She just giggled but ignored my question. I teased her more along the way when she said she had Seb's number for a long time. I couldn't imagine me trying to get Damian's number and Misha's already one step ahead of me. Or is she? Have they kissed yet? I smiled slightly and walked behind her. We stopped our tracks to see the path blocked by thick snow. From the looks of it, it fell from the mountain above us. It was the only path we took earlier and the sun was finally setting. It was also dangerous to stay here. Louis tried to dig it up but it was too thick and impossible to get through. "Okay.. now what?" Louis asked while catching his breath. "Don't panic guys. I got this, let's take a detour. It would take about an hour to our cabin before night time." Misha confidently said and led the way. I had a bad feeling about this and I started to follow Misha behind, not leaving her. The detour was a lot longer, the trees were taller and the fog was getting thicker. It seems like we were lost but Misha kept saying she knows where we going. It was a dead end. We were standing on a cliff and saw river down below. Misha said we have to go across the river and that the cabin was already close. It was high up from where we stand, almost 7 feet from here down to the river, that high. I started to panic, this is what I saw, and I don't know what to do, I can't let anything happen to Misha. "There's a bridge over there." Kenneth pointed at our right side. It was a small bridge made out of planks, but the planks looked old and it would break anytime. There's even hole on the bridge and the ropes from the other side are worned out. This is bad, really bad and it was almost dark. "I think we shouldn't use that. It looks worn out, it can't take us." I warned them and my voice was full of worry. "Oh shush babe. We need to go back before we really get lost in the woods" Misha brushing me off and started to walk towards the bridge. "No. Wait. Mish you don't understand" I called for her and followed behind her. She was walking too fast in front of me and got to the bridge before I could grab her away. Louis and Kenneth were still behind us a bit far away, as they were carrying the heavy stuff. Not knowing what lies ahead of us and I was frantic from where I stand. Misha kept crossing the bridge, trying to balance herself since there's nothing to hold on. I was crying and praying she'd be okay. I called for her to come back once more but she kept ignoring me. "Don't worry.. I'm fine." I heard her still ignoring my cries. "Mish, please come back. It's dangerous." I was still crying and I can only see her far away, halfway the bridge. "Hey Snow, what's wrong?" Louis asked confused when he got to me. The two of them finally behind me, confused why was I crying and looked over to Misha.  I heard a ripping sound from the rope, before we knew it.. "See? Guys i told you , it can take---"  My body went numb and I heard nothing, nothing but my own voice. I was screaming her name as I saw her fall from the bridge.
