The CEO on the phone gives permission to the the Secretary to send in his visitor. Within few seconds Phoebe is already inside the office and made herself comfortable with one of the visitors seat. Philip is tall, dark and with Raven shiny eyes. " why did you have to seek permission from the Secretary before coming into the office today?"Philip said wholenfully rested on his swivel chair and glaring at Phoebe with a pale look "I have to, in order to save myself from embarrassment, considering what transpired between us last time I was at your house" said Phoebe with a scowl as she shrugged. "But you know i was not at fault, it was you who decided to fight me because of what you heard from your friend. I have told you not to draw conclusion without confirming from me because your friends could be your unknown enemies and I am still completely in love with you despite your last........." Phoebe interrupted Philip while he was still talking and said; " I did not come here for all this display of guilty conscience neither am I here to declare you innocent. Rather I am here to collect my monthly stipend since my account refuse to be active in my absence and remember to top up something huge to it because I have a friend's wedding to attend." She said arranging her hair. Philip been astonished shook his head and placed his right hand on his chin. " The word change is indeed far from you and is that the reason while you stopped picking my calls?. Anyways you have not been alerted by me because I traveled to London for a conference but you will get your alert today." Phoebe in response said. "I'm here and you are here, make the transfer now, I don't have the strength and time to wait for you to do things at your convenience. Lucy opens the door walks in and said " Sir the branch manager of our company at Port Harcourt is here to see you sir and since you have been waiting for him I had to tell you quickly Sir, I am so sorry to have interrupted". Anyways he was still hopeful that someday somehow she would make a change and know that not everything revolves around money and luxury.
