Today is the day!

Hayden woke up out of breath. She sat up fast an got dizzy. What........ the hell ......... was that! I ca..... can... can't breathe. She struggled for breath. Devlin woke up immediately an pulled her to him. What's wrong babe?! Tell me?! What can I do? Devlin asked scared out of his mind. 

Hayden automatically started to calm down being in his arms. She slowly started to regain composure. Her breathing started to regulate. She started to sob into his chest. I don't know what's wrong! I had a awful dream Devlin! I felt so real! I think something is wrong. I've never felt like this before babe! I'm telling you something bad is a going to happen! I can feel it! She continued to sob into his chest. He ran his hand over her hair an kept telling her everything was fine. 

He looked over at the clock. It was 3:00 in the morning. He kept soothing Hayden until she finally fell asleep. He slowly laid her head on the pillow an slipped out of the room, cell phone in hand. 

The phone rang three times an Xavier picked up. 

Hel... Hello?!? What's wrong? Xavier stuttered out half asleep.

It's Hayden. I don't know what's going on with her man. She just scared the s**t out of me. She said she had an awful dream an it felt real. She keeps saying something is wrong an she can feel that something bad is gonna happen. I'm telling you. I could feel her fear. Devlin rambled on. 

I believe her Devlin. I've had the same feeling. I just spoke to Charlie about it yesterday night. When the Goddess came to me before Charlie arrived at Lily's she told me my mate was close an that I needed to protect her from the evil that is coming here! Could it be possible Hayden is psychic. Maybe her parents were .....an it passed down to her? That would explain the ability to stay in the dream realm to see you. Xavier said wide awake now.

It's possible. I've never thought of it that way. I just thought it was because she died twice on the operating table. I usually have to search out people in the dream realm but I never had to with Hayden. I wonder if she knows? ................Ok I called you because I was scared to death. You have calmed my nerves some. We will figure out what's coming an we will deal with it. I'll let you go back to sleep now. Thanks for talking. 

Goodnight. Try to get some rest. I have a feeling it's going to be a long day tomorrow. Xavier said.

Devlin hung up and walked back upstairs. He slipped into bed an pulled Hayden against him. Soon he drifted back to sleep. 

When they both woke up at 11:00 in the morning Devlin looked over at Hayden an she just smiled at him. 

Are you okay babe? Devlin asked her. 

Of course..... Why wouldn't I be? She laughed. 

Do you not remember waking up at 3am ......you couldn't breathe.... You kept saying something bad was gonna happen? Do you not remember anything?! Devlin questioned. 

No.... I..... I..... guess ..... I dont. I vaguely remember waking up.... but I don't remember why. She said rubbing her temples looking confused. 

Hayden, do you know if ANYONE in your family was.... Psychic? Devlin asked. 

I'm not sure....... Why do you ask? Hayden asked nervously. 

Because when you woke up this morning.... You couldn't breathe... I could feel your fear. You said something was coming. Everything felt real. You said something bad was going to happen. Those were the words you said to me. When I pulled you into my arms, because I was scared to death. You calmed down and went back to sleep. After you fell asleep I went downstairs and called Xavier....... He believes you are right. That your visions are right! The Goddess told him something evil was coming here. We need to figure out why, an what it is.... So we can stop it. I think I should go ahead an change you. For your safety. I know we were suppose to do it last night but after you fell asleep so quickly I didn't wanna wake you. What do you think about doing it right now? Devlin asked her seriously. I can put you in the panic room an wait for the change to happen. I will stay with you until it's over. 

Okay. Your terrifying me right now! What do you mean I'm Pyschic! I'm having visions?! How is this possible!?! I've never known any of my family to be pyschic! Hayden panicked. Deep breaths..... Deep breaths..................ok...... Ok...... Okay. I'm fine. I think. I'm fine. Ok. I want you to change me.............. Now. I don't want to be helpless when whatever comes. How will you feed when I'm under?!! Hayden studied his eyes. 

I will be sated hun. I have to drain most of your blood to change you. It's not going to be pleasant Beautiful. But I promise I will be here for you an I will try everything I can to make it more comfortable. Ok? Devlin walked up an hugged her around the waist. 

I'm scared Devlin. But I want to do this. I'm strong.. I can do this. Let's go. Today is the day! She said walking up the stairs to their room with Devlin right behind her.

She sat on the bed. How should I sit. She asked nervously. 

Come here My Love just pretend like it's any other day an we are getting hot an heavy. We can't have s*x but we can make out. He said then pulled her face to his an kissed her passionately. 

Hayden ran her fingers through his dark hair. He moved down an started kissing her neck. Soon as she felt the fangs pierce her skin she moaned. This is Devlin. I love him. He would never hurt me. She thought to herself. I love this man. 

I love you Devlin. She said as he continued to drink from her. She started to feel a little light headed. Everything was getting a little fuzzy an blurry. She moaned again. She felt giddy. Like everything should be a joke. Something is funny. What is it? She thought to herself as he continued to drink from her. 

Soon as he pulled away. He said I love you to Beautiful. Now..... You have to drink. She could barely see his face. Her heart was barely pumping. She closed her eyes feeling very sleepy. No! Hayden! You have to drink! Wake up! He bit into his wrist an put it to her mouth. His blood was just pouring into her mouth. Her head hung back with her mouth open. He continued to let his blood flow into her mouth. He massaged her throat so the blood would go down. She jerked a little an clamped down on his wrist an started to drink. 

There you go baby! Drink Hayden! I love you so much! Come on baby..... Keep drinking. When Devlin let her drink until he knew it was enough, he told her to stop. She kept drinking. Ok baby. You have to stop. You can't take to much. It will kill you. STOP! He bellowed. 

She let go an her head dropped back. He felt her heartbeat. Barely. It was barely pumping. 

Ok. I have to carry you to the panic room baby. This part will be uncomfortable. I know my blood is coursing through your body right about now. Your gonna feel like your whole body is on fire. I promise it's not. I know you can hear me....... But you won't be able to respond until you wake up. The panic room is right behind the book shelf in our room. I'm going to set a alarm for 24 hours. Then I'm going to give you more blood. He said laying her down on the panic room bed. He took his phone out of his pocket an set the alarm. I'm going to call Xavier an Charlie.... To let them know what's going on. I'll be right back. He opened the book shelf door again an closed it. He pulled the camera in the panic room up on his phone. He looked at Hayden laying there lifeless. This better work. He thought to himself. He dialed Xavier's number an hit the talk button. It rang once.

Did you talk to her about her family? Xavier asked.

Yes...... But she said she doesn't remember any of her family having psychic abilities. Devlin answered. 

Let me talk to her for a minute. Xavier asked. 

I'm afraid that's impossible right now friend. She wanted me to change her last night, but we waited until this morning. She said she isn't going to be helpless when whatever is coming.... attacks. I just drained her a few minutes ago an then fed her my blood...... Now we wait. Devlin said nervously.

We are coming over right now! Xavier growled. 

Ok I'll see you guys soon. Devlin said an hung up the phone. 

What is it babe!?!!!!!! Charlie exclaimed. 

Devlin went ahead an Changed Hayden at Hayden's request! We are going over there until she makes it out of the change! We need to make sure she is protected in that state of mind she is in. She is very vulnerable right now. Let's Go! We need to bring some clothes. We are staying until this is over! Xavier growled. 

Devlin texted Xavier the code to get in the gate an the house. He knew the minute they walked in. Their heartbeats were erratic. They were nervous for Hayden. 

I WANT TO SEE HER!!!!! Charlie yelled from the bottom of the stairs. She ran up them two at a time. 

Calm down first! She can hear everything you are saying. She is going through excruciating pain right now. I just gave her a shot of morphine but that barely touches it. He said as he pulled the book out to open the door to the panic room. 

Charlie an Xavier stepped in. Devlin just peaked in from the doorway. 

She looks dead! Devlin is this normal?!?! Charlie said an walked up to her best friend. 

Don't touch her! Devlin said nervously. Her skin feels as if it's on fire right now! My blood is coursing through her veins right now. It's changing her into a vampire. Her organs are shutting down one by one. The heart goes last. Devlin said sadly. I've never seen it happen this fast. It usually takes at least 1-3 days. At this rate she will be completely changed by morning. It's only been an hour. 

She can hear me? Charlie asked. 

Yes. She can hear us. She just can't respond. Devlin answered.

Hayden.......... We are all here for you HayHay! You better come back to me! I don't want to do this without you! Please, We all love you! Charlie told her with a tear slipping free an running down her face. She wiped at it before anyone could see. Xavier knew though. The bond they shared was intense. He knew when she was scared or hurting or nervous or happy. 

Xavier came up behind her an hugged her. Hayden.... we will be here when you wake up. We will always be here for you. Xavier said softly. 

The room was big for a panic room. There was a bed an a couch an a little kitchen area with a big screen tv mounted to the wall an a big recliner. Xavier an Charlie sat on the couch an Devlin came in an sat on the recliner. 

Hayden was in the dark. She couldn't see anything. The pain was nothing like she ever experienced in her life! She tried screaming but nothing came out. She could feel her organs shutting down one by one. Her lungs started to crystalize an she struggled to breathe. Then her heart started to crystallize an she didn't need to breathe anymore. Her blood was boiling. The heat was the worst pain she was experiencing. She heard Charlie enter the room. She was yelling. Why was she yelling? Oh yeah.... I'm dying and turning into a vampire. She thought to herself. 

She heard Charlie call her by her childhood nickname. She felt bad for not telling her she was going to do this today. Charlie you won't have to do this without me! I Will be fighting right beside you! She tried to say but nothing would come out. She fought hard to come out of this as fast as she could. She made the change move smoothly an quickly as she could. I want to see them now! She thought to herself. Then she heard it. A faint heartbeat. She didn't know where it was coming from or who it was but she could hear it. Then she heard another one. That has to be Charlie an Xavier she thought to herself fighting through the pain. She then heard Devlin. Hayden it's time to drink some more. She smelled blood. It smelled like the best aroma she had ever smelled in her life. Then she felt warm blood trickle down her throat. Before she knew what she was doing she felt something sharp pierce her lip. Then she realized it was her fangs... She bit down on Devlin's wrist and drank. As she drank she felt stronger an stronger. Her eyelids slowly started to lift an she could make out Devlins handsome face. Everything was so bright an she could hear everything as if the volume was on full blast. 

Turn off the lights an turn the TV off. Her hearing an sight are impeccable right now.... She has to get use to it. Devlin said to Xavier an Charlie. Charlie walked over an flipped the light switch an Xavier turned off the tv. 

Your awake. Charlie said softly. I missed you so much HayHay. 

I missed you to Char! Hayden said letting her fangs release her man's arm. I feel so good. Hayden said looking at Devlin. He leaned down an kissed her. She let a moan slip. Soon as he pulled away she smiled at him. 

Everything feels so intense. She said to him. 

You will get use to everything with time. I've never seen someone make the change in 11 hours. Soon as I heard your heart stop beating I gave you more blood. 

It felt like I was going through that for days. Hayden said sItting up slowly an looking around the room. Wow. I never realized how you guys smell like wet dog! But you guys look amazing. I can see every detail! Hayden said an they all started laughing. 

Well if it makes a difference.... You smell like death an dirt. Charlie responded with a laugh. 

We will get you some expensive perfume. That's how I cover my smell ..... with cologne though. Very expensive cologne. Devlin said with a laugh. You want to try to stand up. Go very slowly ....everything is so much different after the change. 

Hayden scooted down the bed an hung her legs over the side until her feet hit the floor. Xavier took one arm an Devlin got the other. Hayden slowly stood up. 

I feel so strong. You guys can let go. I can do it. I feel amazing. She said taking a step an then another without any help. Devlin exchanged a look with Xavier. Xavier nodded his head. 

I think you have had abilities all along Hayden. I think either someone in your family has psychic abilities or when you died twice last year..... you developed them. Devlin explained. There is no way a regular human could make the change that fast. 

I think someway.... somehow.... I made the change move smoothly an quickly. I thought hard and kept saying I wanted to see everyone an one by one my organs crystallized quickly. I believe what you guys are saying now. I don't believe my family has psychic abilities though. I would have known. Unless .....that's why my parents chose drugs over me. Maybe they couldn't handle it? Hayden said walking back an forth. I'm really good at this! I think I could run 10 miles right now! 

Devlin looked at Xavier an smiled. 

So.... We have two witches, one vampire, one vampire pyschic.... an over a dozen werewolves.... I think whatever is coming... Doesn't stand a chance! Xavier growled. Let's get over to the pack house an make a plan. 

Are you okay to go? Devlin asked Hayden. 

She smiled, I've never been more okay in my life! 

Charlie gave Hayden a hug. Come on I'll help you with a outfit. She said taking Hayden's hand an walking into the bedroom. 

She walked over to the closet an opened it. Wear something comfortable. Maybe a yoga outfit. Charlie said getting Hayden a pink an black yoga pants an yoga shirt out of the closet an handing it to her. Hayden grabbed her pink an black Nikes out of the closet an went into the bathroom. I'm gonna jump in the shower really quick. She said shutting the door. 

Soon as Devlin an Hayden were dressed in comfortable clothing they all walked to their vehicles an got in. 

They arrived at Charlie an Xavier house within minutes. 

We can park here an walk over Devlin said out the window to Xavier while pulling into the driveway. 

They walked over to the pack house an Xavier opened the door. Good everyone is here. We have to talk to everyone about something important. Xavier said walking up to the fully packed livingroom. 

Charlie, Devlin and Hayden walked up beside him. 

Someone from the couch yelled. She is a vampire now! 

Yes Lant! She is! She is also a Pyschic! That's why we are all gathered here right now! Hayden may have just saved everyone's lives! Xavier bellowed. 

All the wolves bowed their heads at their Alpha's tone. NOW! As I was saying! I gathered all of you here today because there is something evil coming to our town! I think that is why the Goddess has sent everyone's mates this way! She Is preparing us for it! I know six of you don't have your mates yet but I believe they will be here soon! A few months ago I got a visit from the Moon Goodess. She told me my mate was close an that evil was coming. We all need to protect our land an our mates from this evil! We don't know what it is yet! We will find out! Hayden has just started having her visions so I think we have a little time. I still want the club's in full operations! Any chance to make our pack bigger... Take it! if it is meaning finding your mates or picking up a loner! We must do IT! Anthony, Sexton, Lee, Brad, Travis an Landon.... Your mates are close or they are already here.... Find them. We are all starting to train tomorrow. So you 6 will work the club's until you find your mate or your mates come to you. Xavier finished. So any of you have any questions?! 

What if we don't find our mates? Anthony asked nervously. 

I believe the Goddess wasn't just talking about my mate.. ..I believe she was talking about all our mates. We have never had this many pack members mated at one time like this..... I believe something is coming! We must be prepared for it! So I know all your mates are out there. Kensley told me the other day she didn't know what brought her here. She just knew when she got off the bus she was supposed to be here! Everyone looked at Kensley. Is it true? Anthony asked Kensley. 

Yes. I got off the bus two years ago. I didn't know why I picked this place ... I just knew I had to stay here. When Xavier an Charlie an their friends came into the store the other day an told me everything, I knew I had to meet all of you. Then I found my mate. She said looking up at Hunter and smiled. 

Ok, Alpha... we will try our best. Landon said looking up at Xavier. We will head to the club now. We have someone covering us right now. It's one of the human waitresses. She is probably in over her head right now. We have 3 hours until closing. Hopefully one of us will come home with a mate. We are going to have to build more houses. We are almost done with Hunter an Kensleys house now. Just need to run the plumbing. He continued an got up off couch an waved at the other 5 to follow him.

Here .... This is your new car. Xavier said putting his hand on the hood of a 2020 Black Honda CRV... Here is your car keys an your house keys. They should be done with the house in a few days. I'm sorry I couldn't take you to get your clothes today.... Something important came up. We can still go tonight if you want? He asked her. 

It's okay... I can wait until tomorrow. Simone let me borrow some clothes  ... We are the same size. She replied. Everyone has been so nice. Plus we won't be able to see in the dark over there. My power is off. She said looking embarrassed.

You will never have to struggle again. You have your new car an your house will be ready soon. How about you an Hunter go get the stuff tomorrow... Take a few wolves with you guys just incase. Xavier replied an  gave her a hug. 

Thank You Guys So much really!! I can't say it enough. For the car, for the house an specially for the family I've never had. Kensley said squeezing him harder.
