Where is he?

Devlin looked back and forth between Tia an Hayden. They had their left wrist covered and Hayden made sure not to wear any perfume this time. Tia and Hayden looked straight ahead with identical smiles. Trying hard not to laugh. 

I really, really don't know. I give up. Devlin said after studying the two of them for thirty minutes. Let go of your wrists. I need to see which one I think is Hayden..... the right Hayden. I'm thinking the one on the left is my fiance. He said covering his eyes and shaking his head. He uncovered his eyes and looked at them. The Hayden on the left was actually Tia. She wore the pink and purple yarn bracelet around her left wrist.

I'm so glad you didn't try kissing her this time because you totally got it wrong. Tia laughed in Hayden's voice. This is so weird. I don't even sound like me! She laughed again. 

Anthony looked at his mate. I don't think we can kiss or anything until you turn back into yourself. He walked around Tia examining every inch. I'm going to feel like I'm doing something wrong. I love you Tia but I want the real you back. So the sooner this is over....... The better. Anthony said shaking his head. 

Hayden walked over to Devlin an gave him a kiss. It's okay babe. There is no way to tell us apart now. It's already 9:45. Let's go get some rest. Take me to the room. I will close my eyes. Just in case he can see where I am. Hayden said. 

Good idea. Tia announced. I'm sleeping in the front room right? On the couch bed? She asked with a yawn. 

Xavier stood up from the dining room table. Yes, Hayden you can sleep on the couch bed. We will make sure you are protected. He said his lines as planned. Xavier took Charlie's hand an lead her to the bedroom by the front room. We will just be in here, if you need anything. He said closing the door. 

This is going to be so weird sleeping in two separate rooms. Anthony told Tia. 

I know. When this is all over, we will never have to sleep apart again. Tia said in Hayden's voice. Close your eyes. She told Anthony. I want to give you a goodnight kiss. 

Anthony closed his eyes. Her lips felt different but he knew deep down this was his mate. His love. His life. He kept his eyes closed. Goodnight Sweetheart. I miss you already. He turned around without opening his eyes. He opened them when he couldn't see her anymore an walked to the other side of the dining room. I will be in this room, if anything happens....... Yell for me an I will be here in an instant. He said still facing the bedroom door. 

Okay. I love you. She said softly knowing he would be able to hear her. 

I love you too Tia. Anthony responded and went into the room and shut the door. 

Tia looked at the eight men in the corner of the room watching the monitors. Their focus was completely on the screens. 

You guys need anything before I lay down. Tia asked. 

Hunter turned around. Sure, maybe some snacks and drinks. And an empty bottle in case we need to pee. Hunter laughed. 

No problem. Tia said an walked into the kitchen. She grabbed some chips an sandwiches an cookies and a 12 pack of mountain dew. She walked over to the pack and sat everything down on the table where the monitors were sitting. 

Thanks so much Hayden. Your awesome! Hunter said with a huge smile. 

Tia looked at them and thought he was losing his mind until she remembered she was wearing Hayden like a costume. No problem guys. I'll be on the couch. Let me know if you need anything else. 

Where is Devlin? Hunter asked. Are you two okay? 

Oh yeah, he is just outside on guard. He wanted me to stay inside. Tia replied. Goodnight guys. 

Night! Thanks again. Hunter replied. 

Tia laid down an looked at the ceiling. She already missed Anthony. Soon she drifted off to sleep. She started dreaming instantly. She was in a dungeon. She looked around an everything was wet and cold. She realized she still looked like Hayden. She dug down the seem of her pants an realized the syringe was still there. She felt her headband and it was still there which meant the syringe was still there. She grabbed at the sole of her boot an peeled the heel back. The syringe was still there. She knew she was at the Dark Lords lair. She knew it in her bones.She had three shots to get him with the syringes. She was going play this out the smartest way possible an wait for him to feed. Pretend like she was weak and vulnerable. She pretended to cry. She started screaming and saying she didn't want to die. She screamed that she was pregnant and this couldn't be happening. The Dark Lord busted into the room. Tia gasped. She has never seen something so big and frightening. He stood seven feet tall if not taller. His hulking figure took up the whole doorway and he had to turn sideways to fit through the door. She couldn't see his face but his eyes were glowing red and his fangs were huge. The biggest thickest fangs she had ever seen. Shut the f**k up! He bellowed. I will tell you when you may speak! You will obide by my commands or I will kill you where you sit! Now! Tell me! You are pregnant!?! The Dark Lord bellowed! Tia shrunk back against the wall an pretended to shake with fear. She stuttered out. Yyyyy...yes. How far along!? He yelled. I am five months. She replied softly, lying to him. He looked relieved. Second trimester huh. He asked lowering his voice dramatically but his words were underlined with a growl. Yyyy...yes. Tia stammered. You will be so much tastier with a baby on board. I don't plan to kill you now..... Until the baby is born anyway. I will feed on you still. But, not enough to kill you until the baby comes. I will raise your child to be my biggest weapon. I will rule this world. With your child at my side. He growled. I'm going to feed on you now! He growled coming closer to Tia. Tia shrunk back further and pretended to cry. She kept the heel of her boot peeled back. She had her finger in the bottom for easier access if he started to take to much blood. He leaned down in front of her. She could see his face clearly now. He was the ugliest thing she had ever seen. One side of his face looked like it was burnt. The other side he had werewolf fur on the top of his forehead and down to his eyes which were glowing red. The bottom half of his face looked like it wrinkled into a vampire and his fangs were a mixture between werewolf and vampire but they were longer an thicker than she had ever seen. She thought how bad it would hurt right when he sunk his fangs into her neck. He started to drink while she pretended to cry. She slowly pulled the syringe from the heel of her boot. She brought it up between her breast an popped the cap off. He heard the cap drop and stopped feeding, soon as he leaned back with confusion on his face she brought the syringe up and swing her hand down with as much force as she could muster. 

She sat up straight, wide awake. She looked around. The guys were still watching the monitors. She jumped up. He is here! He broke the protection spell around the property! I seen a vision! Where is he? I couldn't have a vision if he wasn't here!!!!! Where is he!?!! The men jumped out of their seats. 

Hayden! What do you mean?!? We haven't seen anything on the monitors! Hunter yelled. Are you okay Hayden? 

Tia looked around confused. 

Hayden? ARE you OKAY?!? Bran asked again since she didn't answer Hunter. 

Something is wrong! Tia yelled. I had a vision! I don't have visions here! There is a protection spell around this property! The spell is broken! Everyone get to the basement as planned. Tia yelled. Now! She yelled when they didn't move. 

They all went as quickly as they could. Tia laid back down on the couch bed and pretended to be asleep. She waited an waited an waited. He still wasn't here. What the hell. The spell is broken. Why isn't he coming in here for me? She asked herself. Then she remembered from the vision she had earlier. She was in the woods by herself. She was wondering around looking for him. The next thing she knew she woke up in a dungeon. She knew then. She had to go outside. Tia stood up and walked outside. She seen Derrick standing by the front door. 

Go inside to the basement as planned the protection spell around the property is broken. He is here. Tia said seriously. Derrick didn't question her. He just went down to the basement. He used his walkie to radio to the others and told them to get back inside to the basement. They all walked in to the house an into the basement. They all had no idea Hayden, the real Hayden and Devlin were locked in the room in the corner of the basement with a spell to hide the room from sight and scent. 

Tia walked to the middle of the field and looked around. This isn't the spot. She thought to herself. She continued to walked until something looked familiar in her vision. She seen a huge rock under a huge oak tree. She sat down. She got her phone out of her pocket and sent a text to Anthony. 

Hey babe. It's time. I have to do this. I want you to know I WILL see you soon. I love you with all my heart. She sent the text then deleted it. She sent another text to Devlin as planned. 

Hey Dev. I am restless, I came out for a walk. The baby is making me have morning sickness so I thought some fresh air would do me some good. I'm feeling better already. I didn't want to worry you so I'm sending you this text to let you know I'm fine. I'll be back as soon as I walk the property line. Love you. -Hayden

Tia stuck the phone back in her pocket an reached down to the toe of her boot an pressed down to activate the tracking device they put into her boot. She heard something behind her but didn't turn around. Her phone began to ring an she seen it was Devlin. As planned. She answered. 

Hey hun! Tia said. 

Where are you Hayden! You know it's not safe! You can't be out by yourself! Devlin yelled through the phone. Then everything went blank. 

Devlin looked at Hayden down in the basement room. He took her. I heard a loud thump and then the phone cut out. Hayden started to cry uncontrollably. It's okay, she knows what she is doing. This was the plan. You have to calm down............ please. She Will kill this Demon. She is a warrior. Devlin assured her. We need to go tell Xavier if he doesn't already know. 

Devlin opened the secret room an all the wolves jumped back ready to fight. It's okay it's just me an Hayden. Devlin said with his hands up in surrender. 

What!?! We just seen Hayden upstairs! Bran yelled. 

No....... AttIca performed a doppelganger spell on them so Tia would be taken instead of Hayden. They look exactly alike right now. Devlin explained. The Dark Lord already took Tia. He has her. Right now. I was on the phone with her when she was taken. 

I'm going to tell Xavier now. We can all go back upstairs. Devlin said taking Haydens hand an walking up the stairs. Everyone followed. 

Devlin stepped into the front room with everyone following behind. Anthony was sitting on the couch bed where Tia was just sleeping not even twenty minutes ago. He had his head in his hands. He stood up when he heard them walk into the room. 

She's gone isn't she? Anthony asked with a worried look. 

Devlin nodded. It's already 4:30a.m. She was taken ten minutes ago. Everything went as planned. Let's just hope she will pull this off. Scratch that. I KNOW she will pull this off. Devlin said confidently. 

Xavier walked out of the room rubbing his eyes. What's going on? He asked as he looked around the room and seen that Tia wasn't here. He took her already?!? Xavier asked angrily. What the f**k! I thought it was going to happen tonight! Tia said it was dark when he came in her visions. He walked over to the curtain and pulled them back. f**k! 

It was still dark outside. They could see on the horizon that the sun was starting to come up. She just misinterpreted the vision. 

She must have figured it out. She went through the written plan perfectly. Devlin said. Soon as I heard the text come through I knew I had to go along. He looked over at Hayden, she still had tears streaming down her face. 

Why did I let you guys talk me into this! My life is no more important than hers! Why did she have to take my place! Hayden cried. I shoulda owned up to it. I should been the one to go! If she dies........ It's my fault!!!!!!!!!! 

Hey! We never said that! She wanted to do this because she knows how important our baby is! How powerful our baby will be! She knew if she didn't do this there would be no future for anyone!! You have to see that. Her visions are real. She knows things. Everything she has ever told me about her visions has came true. Please, don't blame yourself. She knew what was coming before she even showed up at the door that day at Attica's. Devlin explained to Hayden. Now, please baby, don't cry. Everything is going to work out. You will see. 

Did she activate her tracking device? Does anyone know? Charlie came out an walked over to the computer. No one even knew she was awake until she said that. She turned on the computer and brought up the tracker application. The spot on the map was moving. Blinking red. Charlie looked over her shoulder at Xavier. She turned it on. She is five miles away right now but it's still moving. Looks like they are headed to the mountains. Charlie stated pointing at the screen. 

We will give her 24 hours. Then we go in. Xavier said. Everyone try to get some sleep. None of us will be any good if we don't get any rest. 

Everyone agreed and went to bed. They all still planned to stay at the pack house until this was over. 

The next morning Attica was in the kitchen making breakfast for everyone. She waited until noon to start making breakfast after she got up and seen that Tia was gone. She had a feeling No one got much sleep. She started making eggs, bacon, sausage, biscuits and gravy, and pancakes. Enough to feed everyone. One by one they are started filing into the kitchen. Everyone looked stressed an sleepy. 

What time did he come an get Tia? Attica asked as Devlin an Hayden walked into the kitchen. 

About 4:20 this morning. Devlin said an took a drink of coffee. 

Anthony walked into the kitchen an made a plate for three people. He sat down an ate. Not saying a word the whole time. 

Are you okay? Hayden asked Anthony. 

Yeah, I have a strong hybrid for a mate. She is going to take this motherfucker down. I know it. He took his phone out an opened the message she sent him. He handed the phone to Hayden. She sent this to me this morning. Soon as I got it, I went looking for her. She was already gone. I know where she hid the syringes. There is no way he is going to find them. Anthony took another bite. After I eat I'm going for a run if anyone wants to join?

The whole pack agreed. After they left for a run Hayden looked over at Attica an Devlin. 

I have a bad feeling Anthony is going to do something stupid. I don't know what it is yet. But if Tia doesn't return soon he is going to do something. He is putting on a front for everyone. I can tell. 

Xavier and Charlie walked into the kitchen. The tracker stopped at the top of Devils Peak. There is a cave up there. We are thinking that is where he lives. Charlie said. 

That's weird. Isn't it cold up there? Like snowing and everything? Hayden asked. 

Yes  that's a perfect place for a Demon that old to hide. No one would suspect him to live up there. I'd say everything is solar up there. He couldn't survive in freezing temperatures. Demons are attracted to heat. He probably has a thousand heaters up there. If we knock out his solar power. He will be weak. If she doesn't come back by 6:00a.m. We are moving in on his territory. We will take it all out. Xavier explained. 

Sounds like a plan. Jordan said as he sat down with a plate of food. It was piled high. Sorry I haven't had a home cooked meal in a very long time. My wife doesn't cook much anymore. Hell half the time I have to remind her to even eat. He said taking a huge bite of pancakes. 

I'm sorry Jordan. Hayden said sincerely. 

It's okay. Just a part of life. Jordan said. What's the plan for today? ?

We wait. Devlin said. If she doesn't come back by six in the morning...... We move. 

Jordan nodded with his mouth completely full.  He chewed then swallowed the food. Cool! I'm game!
