This is it. The day we planned for!

Jordan looked at Tia curiously. How is it that you are vampire, werewolf and psychic? It amazes me? 

Well. I've always been psychic. It runs in my family. Devlin is the one that changed me because I was dying of cancer. Then I mated with Anthony an he claimed me. Tia explained. 

Interesting Dear. Tell me, will you be staying here now? Or will you and Anthony leave the property to live? I would love to send my children here. They have been werewolves for 10 years. You see, they are twins. Michael and David. My wife and I have raised them but we are growing to old to keep up with them on the full moons. They need people like them. They just turned 21 last week. If you are going to be here. I would love for you to look after them. Jordan said directly to Tia. 

Well Sir, they are 21 years old. They should be able to take care of themselves. But I'm sure Xavier would have no problems with them coming to live here. The Pack is growing everyday. Everyone just recently found their mates. But if you are asking me to be their guard I'm not to sure they would be happy about having a bodyguard. Tia replied. 

I could pay you handsomely. See, my wife is very overprotective. She will not let them come if she thinks they are in danger. Jordan said looking back and forth between Tia and Xavier. 

Sir, with all due respect..... I don't need your money. I've done really well for myself over the years. I can tell you I wouldn't let anything happen to them. But I'm not going to stand guard all day. Tell your wife she has to loosen the leash at some point in their life or they will find that the leash grows to tight. They will rebell an grow to envy her if she babies them all their life. Tell her it is time to let them live. Tia replied with conviction. 

Please, call me Jordan. I understand completely what you are telling me. I've explained that to her over the years. She keeps them in a bubble. I'm trying to pop that bubble. So if you will help me out by "saying" that you will guard them, I can free them from her restraints. Figuratively speaking. Jordan smiled. Just sign this an I will tell her. He pulled a paper out of his pocket. That you guys all said yes. Jordan said. 

This is a contract! Tia exclaimed. If I sign this and something does happen to them, I'm held reliable! No ....I'm not going to do that! She said angrily. 

Look, my wife already has dementia. I'll tell her everything is fine. I'll sign something here as well. I just need to show this to her. Just to put her mind at ease. I will rip up the contract as soon as I show her. I swear on my children's lives. I need help. Jordan pleaded. 

Do you even know anything about the Dark Lord? Xavier asked. Or was this all scheme to get your grown boys a place to call home. 

No, I really do know about the Dark Lord! I just thought I would kill two birds with one stone. If you get what I'm saying. Jordan replied. 

I believe him. He has always been an honest man. Devlin pointed out. 

Okay. Okay we will help you. We would love for your boys to come join the pack. But we will not babysit them. We will not guard them. We will watch their backs though, as we do with all our members. Xavier said sternly. 

That will do. That's all I needed to hear. Now let's sit down an talk about my run ins with the Dark Lord. Jordan Said walking to the couch and sitting down. 

An hour later Attica just finished putting the protection spells on every one while they listened to the stories Jordan told about the Dark Lord. Unfortunately it was nothing useful. They..... For all they could tell, were the only ones that knew how to kill the demon. When they told Jordan that, he looked at Hayden. May I have a syringe with your blood as well. The dark lord knows me. I may be able to get close enough. Procrastinate until we can all take him down. Jordan asked. 

Sure, but the plan has already been set. We are doing a doppelganger spell so that he will take Tia. He will think that it is me..... Until it's to late. She has more battle experience than I do. I would probably just get myself killed. Hayden said sadly. 

Somehow I doubt that. This demon is very wise. He may already be aware of your plan. Never underestimate a woman with her baby to protect. You will be like a momma bear. If he even thinks about touching your baby. You would rip his head off. I would put my money on you. Jordan smiled at Hayden. 

What do you mean, he may be aware of our plan? Hayden asked nervously. 

Well he calls himself the Dark Lord for a reason. He is pyschic, demon, vampire, werewolf, fairy, devil, all rolled into one. He has the powers of all combined. 

Well he doesn't know that we know how.........

Shhhhhhhhh! Don't say another word. I hope you haven't said to much already! Jordan interrupted Hayden. Sorry. I'm not trying to be rude but you need to assume he can hear an see you at all times. 

There is a protection spell around the property! How?!? Attica exclaimed. 

Tia, where did the visions you see take place? Xavier asked. 

I can't be sure. There were a lot of trees, so we were definitely outside. Maybe here? She questioned herself. It didn't look familiar. But this property is very big. Maybe if I went off the property for a few hours then maybe I could see more. Tia replied.

I don't think that's a good idea. What if he gets a hold of you? Then Hayden an the baby are at risk. Devlin said seriously. 

I'll go with her. Anthony spoke up. Who else? We need a few just incase. We will go to a public place. Just sit in somewhere. Maybe get a bite to eat. 

I'll go! Derrick announced. 

If he is going. I'm going. Lily said calmly. I just need to get my gun. 

You guys need to take the syringes with my blood just incase. Hayden said. 

We will not live in fear because this prick thinks he is a Dark Lord! Lant yelled. Sara will come as well. 

Okay that's six people. Please be careful. All of you. We can't lose anyone. Specially family. Hayden said sadly. You will know who he is if you see him. He is at least 6-7 feet tall an his eyes glow red. 

Grab a syringe on the way out. They are in the refrigerator. Attica yelled as they walked out the door. 

May the Goddess be with them. Jordan said softly. 

If you don't mind me asking Jordan, how old are you now? Devlin asked an Xavier looked at Jordan in curiosity. 

I'm 52 years old, I'll be 53 next month. My wife will be 57 in December. Why? Jordan asked. 

I'm just wondering why you decided to help us? I know it's not just because of the boys an trying to get them in the Pack house. Do you have a death wish? Devlin questioned. 

No not a death wish. I just figured ......... I have dealt with the Dark Lord before. I know a little about him. Also this use to be my home. My pack house. I ran it. I even knew Xavier's father. We were very good friends. I always told David I would look after Xavier if anything ever happened to him. I know I've let him down. I know I don't have much time left on this earth. I want to do the right thing. I need to do this. Jordan smiled sadly. 

Why don't you go home to your family Jordan. They need you. I don't want to be the one to tell your boys or your wife that something happened to you. Please. Devlin pleaded. 

My wife doesn't even know me anymore! She is to far gone! I feel it in my bones. She isn't going to last another few days! You know what happens to a werewolf when they lose their mate! I will go insane and turn Rogue! I cannot an will not do that to my boys. I refuse! I will go out with some dignity! I will go out a hero! Jordan yelled then broke down. 

Xavier felt Jordan's pain so deep. He walked over to Jordan an laid his hand on his shoulder. I want you to stay. I want you to fight with us. Then I want you to go home an enjoy the time you have left with your wife. When the time comes. Call me. I will not let you turn Rogue. It will not happen all at once, it takes a few days to lose your mind. I will help you when the time comes. Humanely. Xavier empathized with him. I couldn't imagine. I'm so sorry Jordan.

Thank you. I didn't mean to............... I'm already losing my mind. I know I'm going to lose her. I just wanted to come here and get my boys a place with family to put her mind to rest. She still treats them as if they are little boys. When she does remember them anyway. Jordan shook his head. It's inevitable. I just thought I could do some good before I left this world. 

Everything will work out. I promise your boys can join the pack. Write down your address just incase. If anything happens to you. I will personally go get your boys. 

Okay. Thank you. Jordan replied and grabbed a paper an pencil and jotted down his address. 

Now. Everyone that's here. We need to go outside an train. Let's go. Xavier announced. 

They all went to the field and started practicing. A few hours later Xavier spotted Tia an Anthony and the others walking up to them. 

What is it? Did you find anything out? Xavier asked as they stopped in front of him. 

Yes............ I did. He is going to break the protection spell around the property and he will come from the east corner of the property. He still doesn't know about Hayden an as far as I could tell he will fall for me as Hayden. He will try to kill me until I tell him about the baby. That's all I could see. But I'm not so sure that it's not what he wanted us to see. Meaning I don't know if it was a real vision or one he planted. It felt real. Also Jordan gets injured trying to stab the syringes into the Dark Lord's heart. He will die from his injuries in five days time. Tia finsihed. 

Good. Okay.... We need to make a plan to cover every corner of the property. What time is it. He said looking at his watch. Okay. It's 4:45p.m. We have enough time to set up surveillance. I want to send about six of you to pick up solar cameras. We will set the monitor in the front room of the Pack house. Can you tell Derrick to gather the group an get to the store. Xavier asked a little nervously. 

Sure, are you okay? Tia asked. 

Yep, just trying to come up with a strategy. We need to cover the perimeter. Also Jordan's wife is dying so he came here on a suicide mission. He saId he thinks she has less than a week so rather lose her an turn Rogue he wanted to go out fighting. Xavier said sadly. 

Awwwwww. Poor guy. But, I see where he is coming from. I think I would do the same thing. Tia said. I'll go tell Derrick now. You guys keep doing what your doing. We will be back soon. 

Okay, Thanks Tia. Your one of the good allies I've had over the years. Now your family. I never got to welcome you to the family. So. Welcome to the family! Xavier said and smiled at her.

You okay babe? Charlie said walking up to Xavier. 

Yeah ,I just want this to be over with. I hope all goes well. Xavier said looking into Charlie's eyes. 

Two hours later they had every point of the property covered with surveillance cameras and six monitors with thirty- eight small screens covering every inch. Xavier put eight of his best men on the monitors to watch for any sign of movement. Xavier, Charlie, Devlin, Hayden, Tia, and Anthony, and Jordan stationed in the dining room waiting for the moment someone tried to break through. Everyone was armed with weapons and Hayden's blood. Attica was on her way back over to do the doppelganger spell. They would be able to tell Tia an Hayden apart by the bracelet around Tia's wrist. It was as small pink an purple yarn bracelet that Simone made to keep their identity known only to them. They still didn't tell the rest of the Pack Members of the plan to do the doppelganger spell. They trusted them but then again they have never been around an entity this strong and Xavier hoped they wouldn't fall prey to the demons broken promises. The promises that all demons spill from their filthy mouths of riches an women an infinite lives. Most demons they have killed over the years were lesser demons. The Pack knew that they were all just lies. If this Dark Lord demon is as strong and powerful as everyone says then maybe he is strong enough to sway some to his side. Xavier thought long and hard about this revelation and stood up to warn the pack of the empty promises this Demon might spit to them. 

Where are you going? Charlie stood up quickly and asked Xavier. 

I need to warn the pack not to fall for the promises this Demon may try to sway them with. What if he does try to talk them over to his side! I can't risk it. I Need to tell them. Xavier said seriously. 

You really think the pack that is loyal to you, will fall for a Demons promises? Devlin said almost annoyed at the suggestion. 

Yeah..... I think Devlin is right. They know how Demons are! Charlie said with her voice rising. 

I still need to warn them. Just incase. This is the Dark Lord. He is not just any Demon. I need to make sure. Xavier said nervously. 

Ok, we will come with you. Charlie said walking towards Xavier. Here is the walkie so you can tell the ones outside as well. 

Attica walked in with Damon, Simone an Tyler. What did we miss? Attica asked with a smile. She put the supplies on the table an looked at Charlie. Her smile faded. 

It's nothing, Xavier just wants to warn the pack not to fall for the Demons words. Charlie spoke quickly following Xavier into the front room. Hayden an Devlin along with Jordan followed. Tia an Anthony just sat where they were at the dining room table. Anthony mouthed the words to Tia that she loved to hear. I Love you. 

She mouthed the words back to him. His smile faltered. Please don't do this. I can't lose you. Think what will happen to me if he kills you before we can get to you. What if something goes wrong. Anthony pleaded. 

Babe! Tia took his hands in hers. I am Pyschic and I've been a warrior for as long as I can remember. Now I have werewolf DNA mixed with my vampire DNA! Nothing! I mean Nothing! Can take me down! I Will kill this asshole! I've seen it! She tried lying to him. 

Please don't lie to me. I know you haven't seen yourself killing him. I know the risks. I'm hoping an praying with everythIng I have an BEGGING to the Goddess to keep you safe. I just don't know how I'm supposed to just let this Demon take you?!? Anthony said looking into Tia's eyes. Your the best thing that has ever happened to me. I can't lose you. 

You wont!!!!! Look at me!!!!!!!! She demanded when he turned his head to hide the tears. You have to trust me ........ Okay? If you get yourself killed by not going by the plan..... I will have nothing to live for! Our bond would be broken, I don't think I could handle that. As strong as I am...... I couldn't handle that. Please. I'm asking for everyone, not just me but the future as well. Please, Let him take me as planned. Tia let the tears fall. I need to do this to save all of us. Not just Hayden an the baby. But every single one of us. 

Okay. Anthony said sadly wiping the tears from Tia's eyes. I will have to look away then, you are my mate. I don't know if I could hold my wolf back when I see him take you. When it comes to you my wolf is savage. He will do anything to keep you safe. As well as I would. They may even have to chain me up. Anthony said an looked at Xavier as they walked back into the dining room. 

Xavier gave Anthony a serious look. Don't make me chain you up. We need you. You have to stick to the plan Anthony. I am your Alpha, you have to obey my commands. I didn't want to be this way but I see it is necessary now. Anthony as your Alpha I command you to stick to the plan and let the Dark Lord take Tia. Do you understand! Xavier said with authority. 

YES Alpha. Anthony said bowing his head. 

Okay, We stick to the plan. We only interfere if something goes wrong! Xavier looked at his watch. It's 8:25 p.m. now. Let's all try to get some rest before s**t hits the fan. We will all take turns watching the monitors. Anthony, Attica, Simone, Damon an Tyler an Tia, set your alarm for 4:00a.m. You guys will be on the monitors from 4-8a.m. 

We really should go ahead and do the doppelganger spell. It's made to last for a week. The sooner the better. Attica said. 

Okay Hayden, Tia. You guys complete the spell with Attica and then try to get some rest .....okay. Xavier said. Devlin, soon as the spell is done take Hayden to the room we discussed so that you guys will be away from everyone. That way when he does come in he will go after the right Hayden. Tia make sure you have at least three syringes of Haydens blood on you. Hidden as much as possible. He will check to make sure you have no weapons.... Make sure he will not find those syringes. 

I know exactly where to hide them. Tia said seriously. He will never find them. She said with a wink.
