Heath POV
I gripped the phone tightly, my eyes fixed on some distant point as I spoke to Leo. "So, there's no information about her at all?" I asked, trying to keep my tone neutral.
"Not a single lead," Leo replied. "We've scoured the entire city, but it's as if she never existed. I'm starting to think she might have left the city altogether."
My mind racing, I took a deep breath, trying to process this new information. "Check the train stations," I instructed Leo. "See if she boarded a train to another city."
There was a pause on the other end of the line before Leo responded, "I've already checked, and there's no record of her taking the train."
