Chapter 27 Zara POV I sat on the worn, beige sofa in the same living room where I had spent countless hours as a child. The familiar surroundings were a bittersweet reminder of the life I had left behind. It had been three years since I'd lived in this city with my family, before the wedding that had changed everything. Now, I was back in the same city, but it felt like a different world. The streets, the buildings, even the people seemed to have changed, leaving me feeling like a stranger in my own hometown.
