Margarita stopped her car in front of Adam's mansion. She got out wearing a black dress. There were many bouquets of flowers on the lawn sent by major companies and colleagues of Mr. Alfonzo Smith to express their condolences on his death. The mansion was very quiet. Just as Margarita was about to knock on the door, someone came out from inside. “Xavier?” “Miss Margarita, what are you doing here?” “I just want to meet Adam. I know it's not a good time, but I just want to cheer him up. He must be really pressured." “Wow! Adam is very lucky to have a best friend like you,” Xavier complimented. Margarita smiled, “I was just doing what I should have done as a friend.” “I know. Come on in. He's in his room,” Xavier said. “Alright, thanks.” Margarita walked in and came downstairs around, “Oh, and stop calling me ‘Miss’. Just call me Margarita.” “Alright, sure. I see you later, then.” They smiled at each other before Margarita finally went upstairs. She was now in front of Adam's bedroom door. She knocked three times. “Come in!” Adam said. Margarita walked into the room, “Adam.” She sits next to Adam and hugs him, “I am so sorry for your loss.” “I didn't expect all this to happen so quickly.” “I know. But your life must go on. Your father's legacy to continue his company is one you must carry out." Adam was silent as he looked down. “I'll always be here for you. You don't have to be worried, okay?" “Thanks, Maggy.” Margarita hugged Adam for the second time. “Hey, there's someone wanna meet with you.” “Who?” asked Adam curiously. Margarita chuckled, “I'm sure you'll never expect it.” "You always make me curious. I hope it's not shocking news like yesterday." “Of course not. It is surprising, but I'm sure you'll like knowing it. I promise, I won't shock you again,” she said excitedly. “Alright.” Adam and Margarita walked out of the house. They got into Margarita's car and drove through the cool hill roads. Along the way, Margarita talked a lot about silly things, especially their childhood memories. It made them nostalgic for when they were kids. “Do you remember Mira?” “Mira Montega? Yeah! How could I forget her? I saved her when she was bullied by Diana and the gank.” “Haha, yeah. Your memory is quite good!" “Hey, I'm not that old to be senile,” Adam argued. “Hahaha!” Margarita laughed with satisfaction. They stopped in front of a café on the side of Borjau Town. A girl sat inside the café drinking coffee. She smiled when she saw Adam and Margarita get out of the car. She stood up as soon as they entered the café. “Maggy!” “Hey!” greeted Margarita with a smile. They greeted each other pleasantly. “Adam, how are you? A long time since I saw you. You look different, more skinny though. But, yeah, you are still handsome like the last time. Haha!” Adam looked at the girl in front of him confusedly, " Sorry. Did I know you before?” Margarita stared at Adam in disbelief. “Of course, you know her. She is Mira Montega. Remember?” “Mira? This is you! Oh my God, I didn't expect to meet you again. You look so fabulous” “Ahaha, thanks.” Said Mira. After ordering drinks, Mira said that after graduating from university, she and her family moved to Massacautte State to avoid being targeted by people who wanted to harm their family. Mira's father was a smart detective who always solved cases accurately. But he did not want to risk the safety of his family. That's why they left Texas secretly. No one knew where they were, including Adam and Margarita. Mira's father, who loved plants, decided to build a flower garden and make bonsai from various types of ornamental plants. Unexpectedly, it attracted the interest of rare plant lovers and collectors. The sales of their plants increased dramatically and sold at a high price for each tree. Until now, they still run the business, which has spread quickly and widely. “I really admire your father. He left his job for his family,” Adam praised. “Yeah. Me too. I am so proud of him,” Mira said with sad eyes after remembering the past, ”Anyway, I am so sorry for your loss, Adam. I didn't know that you...” “It's okay. Thanks,” Adam replied. "Everything has come and gone. We have to keep our lives alive,” Margarita said. “You're right,” Mira raised her glass, ”For our lives!” “For our lives!” said Adam and Margarita at the same time and cheered together. They walked out of the café to the parking lot. Just then a rock flew into Margarita's windshield. “Aaaa!” Margarita and Mira shouted in shocked. Adam looked in the direction the rock had come from. But he didn't see anyone. Suddenly his phone rang. A message was received. Adam opened the message. (You hurt her, you die!)
