Caroline's hazel eyes watched as the two left the diner. She tapped her fingers against the table before Gavin's hand reached out and rested on her own. "What's going on with her?" His blue eyes peered at the woman with concern. The look was rather adorable, and Caroline could barely understand why the 'puppy' eyes always seemed to work on her. "I don't fully know." She lied to the male. Her words seemed to settle into his mind, and his eyes darkened. Caroline stood from the table and looked at Gavin. The male followed behind the woman, and the two walked out of the diner.
