Caleb POV Rain was as cold as ice in my arms, her shivering body really worried me. I knew she would push herself further if necessary, but I feared that the spell would only intensify if she did. Despite my anger towards her father, it became clear that he was under the influence of a spell by the way he was acting. My fire snapped him out of it, but how did the mighty ice dragon king fall victim to such a spell? As we walked, I kept my body warm, the fire flowing through me effortlessly.
