THSK 3: The Boyfriend

[Fraucs]

Habang naglalakad ako ng hallway nasalubong ko naman si Jendel at Apryll. Nagkatinginan naman kaming tatlo at agad ko silang hinarangan.

"We need to talk." nagtitigan naman kami ni Apryll at tumango ito.

"Okay, not here." sabay lakad namin.

"What do want to talk about?" tanong ni Apryll habang nakatingin saken ng seryoso.

"Tomorrow the court wants us to give a statement about Haviba watch list." napahawak naman sa ulo niya si Jendel.

"But I don't still remember anything." sagot nito. Hinawakan naman ni Apryll ang kamay nito.

"You don't have to push yourself to remember everything, Okay?" tumango naman ito.

"So, who's the first in the watch list?" tanong ni Apryll saken.

"It's Alec, he's the first who will given his statements about Haviba and I hope he will tells the truth." seryoso naman silang naka tingin sa akin.

"Maybe he will do the right thing, he's the first friend of Haviba here in Hamelton and I know he wants also a justice for Haviba." nginitian ko naman si Apryll.

"How about you? Are you okay about this?" nakita ko naman na medyo kinabahan ito.

"It's okay, if you're not ready." nginitian ko naman siya.

"Yeah. I'm not ready about this and the fact is I don't want to be part of this." nakita ko naman na tumutulo na ang luha nito, sabay abot ni Jendel ng panyo sa kanya.

"I'm sorry for being insensitive---"

"No, it's okay. I just need to go in girls room." sabi nito sabay tayo sa upuan at naglakad palayo samin. Nagtinginan naman kami ni Jendel.

"Okay, I'm sorry. I didn't mean it." napabuntong hininga na lang ako.

"We just need to be sensitive about her. We know what happened to her and she's in pain and even me I can't help her." and he started to cry.

"Don't say that, you're the only one who make her calm and smile in the same time. Do you still love her?" nagulat naman ito sa tanong ko.

"I don't know, but I still cared about her. I don't wanna see here like that. I want to see the girl that I used to see before.. before this is happened to us." seryoso nitong sabi habang naka tingin sa akin.

[Cheerleading Days]

A weeks after Haviba Castaneda transfer to Halmelton High School.

[Klien]

I was walking around the campus when I saw a girl who's wearing a cheerleader outfit. Tumingin naman ito sa akin habang naka ngiti.

"Hi."

"Hi." napatingin naman ako sa mga kasama nito na abala sa practice.

"Are you free before lunch?" tanong ko rito.

"Yeah. Are you inviting me to eat together?"naka ngiti nitong sabi.

"If it's okay to you? Can we?" napaisip naman ito sabay tingin sa mga kasama niya. Nakangiti naman itong humarap sa kin.

"Sure."

"That's great. Okay, see you." sabi ko naman habang naka ngiti sa kanya. Tumango naman ito sabay lakad pabalik sa mga kasama niya.

Bago ako umalis ay lumingon muna ako sa kanya habang naka ngiti ito.

Way back sophomore year Apryll was the famous cheerleader in campus and Apryll was girlfriend that time. We meet Haviba in a school events and we become friends.

Almost everyday kaming tatlo parati ang magkasama even weekends we hangout together and out friendship become stronger. But everything has change after Apryll (my girlfriend) told me to stay away from Haviba.

"Why do want me to stay away from her? She's our friend." nakatingin lang ito sa akin habang naiinis sa akin.

"Because she likes you. We both know that, she's taking advantage of your kindness to her. I don't like the way she talk to you, like she's owning you. Remember, I'm you're girlfriend." inis nitong sigaw saken.

"You're so paranoid, she's didn't like me. She's only my friend and do haven't trust on me? Can you please stop being paranoid babe." sabay yakap ko sa kanya.

"I trust you but to Haviba I don't think so." sabi nito. Humarap naman ako sa kanya at hinalikan siya sa noo.

"Just eat your ice cream it's getting melted and don't mind about it." nginitian niya naman. Inakbayan ko naman siya habang naka upo kami ngayon sa likoran ng kotse ko.

I'm goona say we're happy as a couple and our relationship become more stronger.

Until one day, one incident happened that change our life. I was walking around the campus when I saw Apryll talking with Zion... my friend.

Lumapit naman ako sa kanila sabay lingon sa akin ni Apryll habang naka ngiti.

"Hi babe." tawag nito sabay lingon ni Zion sa akin.

"Hey." lumapit ako sabay halik sa noo niya at tumingin naman ako kay Zion.

"Hey, bro." sabay tapik nito sa balikat ko.

"Hey, I saw Gavin and Jarold at the bench they looking for you." sabi ko rito.

"Oh. I should go. By the way, Apryll just think about it." tumingin ito kay Apryll habang naka ngiti at lumingon sa akin, sabay lakad papalayo samin.

Tumingin naman ako kay Apryll habang naka ngiti ito.

"So, what's that?" tanong ko rito sabay tingin nito saken.

"They want me to be their muse for basketball game next week." naka ngiti nitong sabi. Napakunot naman ang noo ko.

"I don't think, that was a good idea. I know Zion he's planning our something about you. I don't want it." tinaasan niya naman ako ng kilay.

"Why are you saying that? They are your friends, right?" she said. I smirked and went closer to her.

"That's the point, they are my friends so I know them well. Please don't say yes, just for me." I said. Napabuntong hininga naman ito.

"Okay." she smiled then I kiss her forehead.

"Let's go." I said the I carried her in a bridal style.

"Hey, Klien. Put me down!" I chuckled and continued walking. Hinahampas niya ako sa braso habang ako naman ay tawa lang ng tawa.

"Ayoko pa nga umuwi!" pagmamatigas niya.

"You're drunk, Apryll. Tara na!" she shook her head. Alright. I don't have a choice.

Sa isang iglap lang ay buhat-buhat ko na siya. I am carrying her in a bridal style. Panay ang protesta niya habang naglalakad ako palabas ng bar.

"Nakakainis ka! I didn't give you the permission to carry me like that!" aniya nang tuluyan ko siyang maipasok sa kotse ko.

"I don't need it, though." I chuckled and started the engine.

I don't want to see her like this, while I'm driving I looked at her while she's sleeping at the back sit.

Nasa pool area kami ng school ngayon because I'm practicing for the school events next week.

"I don't wanna swim. If you want to swim, then go." she shook her head and sat on a lounge. Nagtaas ako ng isang kilay.

"Why did you ask me to bring you here if you don't want to swim?" habang naka tingin ako sa kanya.

"I just like the ambiance here. You can swim if you want. But I should stay here." I smirked and went closer to her. Agad siyang napasigaw nang buhatin ko siya. I carried her in a bridal style.

"Put me down, Klien! I swear---" I chuckled and continued walking.

Hinampas niya ang braso ko at panay parin ang sigaw niya na ibaba ko siya. I finally put her down when we reached the water.

"Kainis ka! I said put me down!" inis nitong sabi habang pinapalo parin ako.

"Binaba na nga kita." I said playfully.

"Not here!" she groaned. I chuckled and splashed some water on her face. She tried to do the same.

Mabilis akong lumangoy sa malalim na parte para makaiwas sakanya.

"Daya! 'Pag ako natutong lumango, lulunurin talaga kita!" she shouted. Tinawanan ko naman siya habang inis na inis ang mukha nito.

After the basketball game celebration, this what happened to Apryll together with Zion and his friends.

Ilang araw, ilang linggo hindi na ako kinausap ni Apryll pagkatapos nyang mag paalam ng gabing iyon para icelebrate ang pagka panalo ng Melton Basketball Team, hindi ko na alam gagawin ko kong anong nangyari sa kanya, hindi ako makatulog tuwing gabi dahil hindi ko sya nakakausap kaya nagdesisyon ako na puntahan sya sa bahay nila.

Isang lingo na den itong hindi pumapasok sa school.

Nang makapunta ako bahay nila bumungad sa akin ang kapatid nya.

"Kuya Klien, mabuti dumating ka." halos mangiyak iyak ito habang sinasabi niya.

"Why? What happened? Where's Apryll?" pinunasan muna nito ang luha niya bago sumagot.

"She's in her room." agad naman dumiretso sa kwarto ni Apryll. Hindi ko pa man binubuksan ang pinto kinakabahan na ako sa kung ano ang makikita ko.

Nang binuksan ko ang pinto bumungad sa akin ang makalat na kwarto, nakita ko sya sa sulok nakatakip ng kumot.

Dahan dahan akong lumapit sa kanya at naririnig ko syang umiiyak at sinasabing.

"Don't you dare to lapit me! NAPAKADUMI KONG TAO!" she shouted on me while she's crying. Nanghina ako sa sinabi niya, hindi ko kayang marinig syang umiiyak.

Nang makalapit na ako niyakap ko sya ng mahigpit at inialis ang kumot na nakatakip sa kanya. At doon nakita ko si Apryll l, halos hindi ko na makilala ang mukha dahil sa pasa sa mukha nya, namayat din ito dahil hindi daw kumakain ng ilang linggo.

"W-why? What happen to you? Who did this?" tinanong ko ito at hindi ko napigilang umiyak.

"Klien, I'm sorry... I'm sorry... I'm not girl for you." sinabi niya ito habang nanginginig ang boses

"What are you talking about? Apryll, I love you and I don't know what are you saying. Babe, tell me what happen? I'll promise I will listen to to you." pagmamakaawa ko habang yakap yakap ko siya.

"You don't understand!? I don't want to be with you anymore! Stay away from me." at tuluyan na syang nagalit sakin habang umiiyak.

"H-HOW I CAN UNDERSTAND YOU. IF YOU DON'T TELL ME WHAT HAPPENED TO YOU!?BABE, PLEASE TELL ME WHO DID THIS s**t TO YOU! I'M GONNA KILL THEM." I shouted to her habang nama yuko lang ito at umiiyak. Binalot ng katahimikan ang lugar kung saan nakasiksik kami sa sulok.

"If I tell you what happen to me....Do you think you're gonna still love me the same? After what happened to me? After what they did to me." umangat ang tingin nito sa akin habang umiiyak parin siya. I can see her pain.

"I love you and I'm here to listen." dahan dahan ko syang inilalayan papuntang kama nya at doon kami umupo para ikuwento kung ano ba talaga ang nangyari sa kanya.

Nang kumalma na siya sinimulan nya na ang kwento.

"Babe..." tumingin sya sa akin at hinalikan ako sa pisnge.

"Do you remember the day I told you that I will go out with my friends?" tanong niya.

"Yes, of course. Why?" pagtataka ko, bigla naman sumeryoso ang mukha niya.

"I lied to you." sa sinabi niya biglang sumakit ang puso ko pero hindi ko nalang ito ininda. Tinignan ko lang siya sa mata.

"Why? Why did you do that?" hinawi ko ang buhok njya dahilan para makita ang malalaki niyang mga pasa at nagsimula na namang kumawala ang luha sa mata ko.

"I lied to you.. because if you know that I am with you're friends. Yes, I'm with your friends that night." nagulat naman ako sa sinabi nito.

"That night I didn't expect that my friends gonna betrayed me." sa sinabi niya mas niyakap ko pa sya ng mahigpit. Ipinagpatuloy nya ang kwento.

"And that night we have party... I can't say no because my friends wants me to drink."

Napatingin ako sa kanya at nakita ko ang mata nya na nagsisisi.

"Why? Why don't you tell me about this? Why did you lied to me? If you told me that you're going out with my friends. I will go with you. But why did you hide it to me?" sa halip na magalit mas nanaig ang pagiging iyakin ko.

"Babe... I'm so sorry.." niyakap ko sya ng mahigpit para madama nya na tanggap ko sya sa kabila ng pagsisinungaling nya.

"But where did you get this and what happen to your hand?" I asked her. Yumuko naman ito.

"I'll try to kill myself but... I can't do it because I don't want to see you suffer because of me." tinignan ko naman siya habang umiiyak parin ito.

"Babe... If you know the real what happened to me... You're gonna still love me?" tanong nito sabay hawak sa kamay ko.

"Y-yes, of course. What happen next?" I asked.

"After that party all of us were drunk and I try to go home but I can't walk because I was really drunk that time and then your friend Zion told me to that they will take me home.. but I didn't they're planning bad on me." nagtinginan naman kami sa mata.

Nanginginig ako sa galit at iyak hindi nya pa sinasabi parang gusto ko nang pumatay ng tao..

"But I remember when where in the condo that night, Zion was carrying me."

Napatayo ako sa sinabi nya dahil hindi ko na kinaya ang galit ko. Naglakad ako papalapit sa may pader at nasapak ko ito.

Napatingin naman ako kay Apryll na naka hawak ang mga kamay nito sa bibig niya habang umiiyak. Nakita ko naman na dumugo ang kamay ko.

"WHAT DID MY FRIENDS DO TO YOU? TELL WHAT DID THEY DO TO YOU! WHAT?" sa pagkakataon ito pumunta ako sa tabi nya at hinawakan ang sugatan nyang mukha habang pinipigilan ang galit na nararamdaman ko.

"I just woke up when I feel something on my top.... and I felt something inside of me. He's looking at eyes while he's smiling like a devil... and someone holding my hands while I heard them laughing. I trying to scream but there's no voice come out to my mouth... While his making pleasure to his self. He slap me to my face... not once but many times and I just lost my control. When I see my naked body... I can't...... I can't even move my body..... I let them Klein, I let them... to r**e me! you're friends... r**e me that night, Klein. I saw my friends there but they did nothing, they're the one who shoot a video of what happen." humagulgol na siya kakaiyak. Tatulala lang ako sa mga narinig ko. Hindi ko alam kong anong nararamdaman ko ngayon. Gusto kong pumatay ng tao. Gusto ko silang gantihan. Iyak lang siya ng iyak. Niyakap ko naman siya. Hanggang sa makatulog ito...
