Chapter 23:
A knock echoed through my door waking me up. Sitting up quite groggily I called out a 'come in'.
"Tori, love, dinners ready," dad called out from beside the door.
Nodding, I waved him off as I got off bed heading to the bathroom preparing myself. The exhaustion was clear, and though for the last few days I was feeling too top notch, I knew it wouldn't last.
If anything I felt I was going to pass out any moment, but I had to hold on a little longer. Once the mating process was over everything would get back on track and return to normal. We just needed to get started.
Looking at myself in the mirror once more I slapped a smile on my face as I headed down to eat. Walking into the dining room, my parents were already there, seated and eating away.
