“are you sure no one will be able to find us here?” Stacy asked concerned, they have been hiding in here for a day now and she couldn’t help but worry about what will happen if Caleb does manage to find them. “don’t worry, no one will find us here, besides, there is no safer place to be at the moment” Lewis comforted his sister. “but what if they do find us, we have four targets on our backs now, and with Skylar…” Stacy said worried but Lewis cut her off.

“it’s okay, no one will think to look for us here. You see this, I’m watching the entire house, no one is even checking her” Lewis said pointing at the screens, he hacked Caleb’s CCTV so as to watch what was happening and to ensure no one finds out that they have been hiding in his house the whole time. He may hate Caleb, but he has to admit that this was the safest place to be, but also on the other hand, if he does find them, he’s worried about what he will do since they did take Skylar. He has been watching him for a day now, and the guy seems to have lost his senses. “don’t worry, everything will be ok, I’m right here” Lewis said hugging his sister.

“I love that confidence Lewis, I love even more the courage you have to hide in my house” someone said, and they turned to find Archer standing at the door. “how did you find us, and how did you get in here?” Lewis growled, going to the bed where Skylar was lying still unconscious, to make sure that Archer did not try to take her away. “you don’t get to ask that. Anyway, I found you, so I’m the one that gets to ask the questions” Archer said, sitting lazily on the couch.

“I said I’ll tell your brother, not you” Lewis growled, but Archer laughed. “tell me what is happening to her. Who is out to get you. Why you are hiding inside my house. How you people can fight so damn well and most importantly, who the hell you are” Archer yelled annoyed. Stacy and Lewis looked at one another. “leave Archer before we do something you will regret” Stacy glared at him.

“Relax. You know the problem with the guards is at first they underestimated you, then later overestimated you, that’s why they were defeated. But I can’t promise you’ll be able to leave her alive again the second time, so I suggest you tell me what I need to know, you are really playing on my last nerve” archer’s eyes turned cold.

His brother was going crazy trying to find Skylar, and this people still want to threaten him? Do they think his family is easy to bully? They hid in his house and they still have the cheek to be arrogant? He was not threatening them, if they don’t speak soon, he really will have them killed. “don’t forget where you are and be thankful I’m asking. Do you think my brother will have this patience especially after you took his girl?” he asked leaning back into the couch. Lewis and Stacy looked at each other before they sighed and sat back down.

“it’s a long story Archer” Lewis said defeated. “I have time” Archer said annoyed.

“FINE! I’ll make it short. You see, Skylar’s parents came from opposite groups, two of the largest mafia and the greatest enemies. Her mother Ella, was adopted by my boss. The man and his wife could not have a child so he adopted Ella and she became his only heir. But Ella fell in love with Rodrigo, leader to our enemies. They kept their relationship secret and even married secretly, but a secret can’t be kept for long because soon, Ella got pregnant with Skylar and her brother Alex. Upon discovery of this, the boss and Santiago, Rodrigo’s father wanted war, and for Ella to about the pregnancy.

She instead refused and left, giving birth to her kids before she returned with them. So a compromise was made. Rodrigo gets to keep Skylar, while Ella keeps Alex. This lasted on for two years before Ella disappeared with Skylar, and war broke out between the two. Rodrigo was fuming at the betrayal of Ella, especially when he found out that Ella has given Skylar to Matthew to raise, later when Skylar was five, Ella was found dead, my boss blamed Rodrigo, but then he denied all the claims. So the hatred between the two increased, so Skylar having been the last one with Ella, is the only one that can tell us what actually happened, she can solve a war between the two and save a lot of money, she can solve a war between the two and save a lot of money and lives, but it’s not that easy” Lewis explained, brushing everything over.

Archer scowled, angry and annoyed. “that explains nothing. How is she able to throw people across the room? Who is after you? Why didn’t she just tell you what happened? And why was she sent to live with Matthew then latter abandoned in china?” Archer growled at them.

“fine. When she was two, in order to ensure that she could protect her, Rodrigo asked his scientist to make Skylar stronger and to allow her body to withstand even the most extreme circumstances. But on the day the scientist was to perform the ‘experiment’ they were attacked so it was never completed and complications arose from it, plus she was only a child so her body did not react well to it, she got sick often. That’s why Ella took her and gave her to Matthew. Matthew was a friend she had before she was adopted so she trusted Skylar to him. But for his own selfishness, when the Wilde asked for his daughter’s hand, he wanted to give them Skylar but she resisted, said she had someone to wait for, so instead he performed a surgery on her, it made her forget who she was, he created memories for her which made her believe that she loved Brett. But the was a cliché which results in her being herself subconsciously, so with the two ‘experiments’ done on her, she well…that’s how she throws people across the room. But she becomes herself when her emotions become overwhelmed, but later forgets what happened and lives as the one Matthew created” Lewis finished explaining and archer looked at him.

“is there no was to get her back to herself, while she still remembers everything when she wakes up?” he asked curious. “there is a way, two actually. We can wait for her to regain it herself slowly, or we can perform the same surgery and remind her. The only problem with the second one is, if anything goes wrong, she'll be stuck with the mentality of a five-year-old forever” Stacy explained seriously and Archer took a moment thinking. “I see, so what about the people after you?” Archer asked curious.

“one is my boss, wants to bring his granddaughter home and keep her from her father. The other Rodrigo, insists on having his daughter back after the betrayal he faced. Both of them want to force her to remember what happened to her mother. The other, we don’t know who it is, but all we know is that he wants to turn her into a man killing machine, and now also your brother” Lewis said annoyed, he hated thinking about all those people, because he knows they can’t hide forever, and if any find them, they will kill them. He was no so much worried about himself, but rather his sister.

“what about her brother, and why are you worried they can find you now?” archer asked. “Alex is on our side, he still lives with the boss, but I cannot guarantee that he is his fathers’ favourite. When Skylar goes into ‘subconscious mode’ it alerts both the boss and her father, giving them her location. It was designed to make sure that they can keep her safe and out of trouble. So we know for sure they are on their way here, but Alex already confirmed it. What we are worried about is what will happen when they get here, plus we are not sure if the one who wants Skylar, can also find her this way or not” Lewis said looking worried.

“so what you are saying is we have foreign mafia coming into our country and ready to go up against my brother, all in all, my family, our people, they are all in danger. And the only person that can stop this is lying unconscious and will wake up with no recollection of what happened? Is this right? But instead of you asking for help you chose to hide out here?” Archer growled annoyed

"We need to tell my brother about this and prepare ourselves"Archer growled. "But if he finds this out, and tries to stop them, it will not be pretty"Lewis said worried. "Well, you should think about consequences before you act"Archer yelled slamming a fist on the table before him.

"Just tell me, how did you find us" Lewis asked, he was curious, he knows he had been extra careful. "You should be more worried about what my brother is going to do to you"Archer said coldly
