Damon was still resting so I decided to walk around the castle. I walked around for a while till I found a garden with black roses, tulips, lotuses and orchids . I walked around admiring the flowers and finally found a place to sit down. As I took out a book to read someone tapped me from behind me and I turned to see Kyle. “Hey..” Kyle gave me a dazzling smile and said “Hey! Look I know its kinda weird but I need your help. I was confused but said “Carry on..” And he smiled “Okay so.. I know Queen Valerie was terrible, but she wasn't always like this and I..well..I'm in love with her.”

I looked at him giving him a confused and weirded out face. What a weird taste. “Um. Okay but why would I help you?” He sighed and said “Ugh, if you help me.. I'll tell you about The kingdom of Daemonium” My eyes glistened and I agreed to help him. “So why exactly are you asking me and not any other maiden in the castle?” He looked at me as if I was dumb and replied “Well. You went inside her mind and every other girl would be too scared to help me anyways” I agreed and then we decided to meet here after dinner again. I headed back to the room to see Damon awake. He smiled when I entered “Sofie! Where were you?” I looked at him and casually replied “I was with Kyle.”

“Kyle? Oh him Queen Valerie's war General?”

“Mhm”

“Oh.. I see.” and he looked down.

Was he perhaps jealous? A mischievous smile crept across my face and I decided to tease him.

I cleared my throat and spoke up again,

“Mhm, I mean Kyle's a nice guy, he's cute too.” Damon's eyes widened at this and he stood up and walked towards me. “Oh really?” He walked towards me and stood behind me. It was getting harder to keep up the act.

“Yah..He was um” It was getting harder to concentrate. “Yah he has nice eyes.” He laughed and said “You sure?” He came behind and hugged me from behind. My eyes widened and my heart started to beat faster.

Then he started to tickle me “Hey!! Hahahaha Damon!! Please stop!!” He smiled while still tickling me and said “He's cute huh?” laughed Damon “Yahh hell yeah” I replied not backing down. “Hey okay Damonnn stoppp!”

After dinner I headed towards the garden and told kyle about my simple yet effective plan “ Okay so this what you’re gonna do. Confess.” Kyle looked at me like I was crazy. “Look Queen Valerie is straightforward and I think she would like it if you just straight up told her how you felt.” Kyle looked skeptical but agreed.

The guard then called the queen and we lighted the dark garden with beautiful golden lights and there Kyle stood in front of the fountain, wearing a black tux he took a deep breath and then Queen Valerie approached him and looked around and smiled. She looked happy.
