Supernova

           As I sat there I'm the backseat of Grandpa Hiros jeep with my hand trailing through the wind I hoped this place would be better than the last. I hated moving so much but I half understood why, Grandpas work always made us move. This time seemed slightly different like a sprinkle different. I was just happy to be out of the sh-mancy school where everyone was tan and drove g wagons. Hated it. f*****g hated it. I was the creepy goth girl that was demented and must do drugs because of my body tattoo. I only have it to cover up scars and because Grandpa was quite drunk I weasled my way into it. He always did the most elaborate designs, not a one like the other.   "Gramps are we almost there I'm dieing back here!!" I yelled playfully but also serious my stomach let's out a roar.   "Yes Kiko. We are almost there and seems I need to feed the beast hm?" He says eyeballing me in the rear view.  "Yessss yesss!!! Feed the beast Grandpa!!!" I chuckled patting my stomach. I loved my outfit black has always been my color. It just makes my pale skin and rosey cheeks pop. Before we left I wanted to be comfortable so ya know I had to pick black converse for shoes. Black skinny jeans with rips in the perfect places and fishnets underneath. A pentagram bra design with a hellraiser T-shirt just in case so I don't freak out any Normie's with my tattoos.     I Start to notice the scenery took a change as we started towards what seemed like a never ending Forrest. "Oh my god gramps where the f**k did you move us??!" I speak a little panicked.    "Blithe Kimiko Rose!!! I may be old but you will not speak to me in such a manner!!" He chuckles, "sounded good right? He he well actually I'm retiring I'm done traveling. Its time we settled, we will stay a year and if you don't like it still we'll move. I hope to f**k there's a dispensary!" He said tapping the steering wheel as we pulled up to a dinner.   "Seriously?? No more moving?? Staying whole year??!" As soon as I saw he parked the car I reached my arm's around squeezing him tight.   "Oof OK OK relax kid. Now here's a 100 go tame the beast I spotted a dispensary I shall return with goods shortly!" He coughed a little after released him smiling back at me as he got out. I still don't get how he can be a gramps when its like a heart I feel we're the same age maybe he's a little older internally but not much right? I dunno but gramps is literally the only constant. He won't talk about my parents and he said I was born in Japan like him. But we moved to america before I could walk so I remember nothing.  I give him a hug as I go on my hunt to conquer the beast inside "fuckk I'm dieing I want breakfast so bad or oh my god cheese fries!!!! Yessss the beast want the cheese fries!!" I yell running up to the dinner. As I open the door it seems like a little mom and pop shop. All decked out in 1950's furnishings. The tiniest woman walks up to me smiling from ear to ear.  "We don't get many travelers here, so visiting or passing through dear?" She asks as she grabs a menu leading me to a booth next to the window.   "Actually me and my grandpa Hiro just moved here somewhere. Haha I don't know the house yet he's still keeping it a surprise." I say smiling as I sit and look at the menu.  "Oh oh oh!!! You must be little Blithe!!! Hiro stayed here a longggg time ago back when this old bag wasn't so tired hahaa. I never thought that one would ever settle not with well wait is he coming to?" She said surprised then a bit confused.  "Really he never mentioned that before.. And oh um yea he just went to another store right quick..." I say a bit more quietly a little hurt by gramps but I mean he's not going to tell me every little detail of his life so I shake it off. "Um oh!!!! Milkshakes?? And cheese fries!! Yasss I mean um.. May I have a chocolate shake and extra cheesy fries please?" I say wiggling in my seat fro! Excitement.   "Of course dear coming right up! Ya know we're famous here in Crystal Cove for our cheese fries!" She chuckles smiling back at me.  "I'm just going to step out for a smoke I'll be right back I swear." I say as I fumble around in my purse. She nods and smiles heading towards the kitchen. I step back outside away from the entrance and get out a menthol 100 cigarette. "Uughhh lighter whyyy? Whyy do you always hide from me?? I love you just come back!" I shout I'm frustration.  A flame from a light appears in front of me, I get spooked falling flat on my ass "f**k f**k!! What the?? Why would you scare me man?" I mumble as I star up to meet his emerald eyes.   "I heard how much love you had for the lighter and got a little jelly it gets your love." He laughs stretching out a hand to help me up. He smiles holding out the lighter.  I snatch it outta his hands "this mine now...but uh who are you?" I wonder while lighting my cigarette.   "A degen from up country! Wade Blackwell you ole bastard!!! Stop messing with lil Kiko she doesn't even remember you! Kiko this an old family friend he sold us the house." Says Gramps excitedly.    "But he looks maybe 5years older than me? Whateves they have a good select over there?" I ask trying to pry into the bag.  "Tsk tsk little Rose you get this when we are home!" He says jerking the bag away. "Finneeeee so Wade normal for you to sneak up on 16 year old girls?" I say sarcastically. "16?? Um hiro I I uh I gotta go I'll call you ok.." Said Wade with a worried tone as he hurries off into the darkness. "Pft weirdo.. The beast ordered milkshake and super cheesy fries!!" I say jumping.  "Um I think we should get that and go dear.." Says Gramp's.  Something seems off but the beast in me is to hungry to care. Cheesy fries iam here to destroy you!!!!
