SACRIFICIAL LOVE

"You won't dare disobey me" King Felix shot up from his throne in a feet of temper at his nephew. His nephew Princess Hilda was about to ruin the prosperity of his reign and he didn't like it. On the other hand the princess Hilda saw him as a very self centered he-goat who would stop at nothing to please his egos even if it offends others. Her father had been the king but died prematurely and leaving only one daughter and a sick wife behind. Now his brother ascended the throne in his place and wanted to marry his brother's daughter off to a foreign kindom in exchange for treaty and diplomatic ties. She was not to be forced against her will and she decided, nothing on earth would make her get married except love. She doesn't care who ever it is, a peasant farmer or a poor woodcutter doesn't matter so long as there is mutual love. She has often dreamed and saw herself in the arms of a handsome man, ready to tear the world apart with his bare for her sake, and knew this man would find her one day, and the only way to clear the paths for him was to stand up against her uncles evil wish. "Listen well and listen good" She pointed at his face "If your idea is to mate me with some spooky prince and have this whole kingdom to yourself, am sorry to announce your failure. Either you like it or not I will be here till your filthy self get into the ground and I will ascend my father's throne" "Why are you such a caused foolish girl? Do you think I have chosen the wrong thing for you? Do you know how many princesses dieing to be in your shoes right now and yet you are complaining because you are after the throne. Stupid girl" Hilda stared at the man with vicious eyes, so bent was he to kick her out of the kindom and own everything "You are a traitor, do you know that? You've gotten my father killed and my mother crippled on bed and planning to self me off so you will be sure you own this kingdom alone. I will see to it that your plans do not work" King Felix couldn't bear again the anger frying within him especially when the girl was almost saying the truth. He has to somehow shut her in before she destroys his plan. By firm decision it shall be "Hilda I don't care about what you think or what you want, all I know is that I know the best thing for you. You are marrying the prince of Chails weather you like it or not. That's final" Hilda couldn't accept defeat, grabbing a cup filled to the brim with wine, she poured it all over the king's face "Know it Felix that I do not respect or fear you" This was too much for the king, the girl did not only disrespect him but as well she gave him an insult that plunged deep into his soul in the presence of his officials " For God damn sake " He grabbed Hilda on the arm "You will pay for this" He yelled. Hilda jerk her arms free from his grip "Loser " She spat " You are already paying for it " She walked away angrily and went straight to her chambers. On getting there she jumbed unto the bed as tears escaped from her eyes and ran down her cheeks. How the hell did her uncle think his plans could work, sending her away to a foreign country, with men of different customs, practices and cultures. How will they think of her, a foreign peasant giving to them for free. They were bound to dishonor her, to break her very much against her will. She won't let her uncle have his way, rather she will run away from the kingdom and come back one day to claim her father's throne. With these thoughts in heart she drifted asleep.
