Vampire

As Derek pulls back, I look into his eyes, my eyes still filled with tears all I want to do is run. But I am unable to move. Shock, scared, intrigued, so many emotions going thorough my body. Not all bad but I'm unable to console myself. Tears keep streaming down my face. I try to put my hands up to hide but he grabs hold of them like I have nothing to be ashamed off.

"I'm not going to hurt you but don't push me Ellie." He commands. As he looks into my eyes. pulling a strand of hair out of my face. His eyes have now gone back to his normal colour still dark but less anger, he gives me a slight smile. How can he just admit he is a vampire and I'm still swooning over him like a little kid in a candy shop. I barley know him, yet he has this hold on me that I can't explain. 

"You're a vampire?" my voice shaking. I feel like my legs are going to give way any second. His eyes are on mine as he rubs his hands through my hair, He is trying to console me trying to stop my tears from falling. He lets out a slight sigh while he replies "Yes I am a vampire." He slowly moves away from me back to his desk at the other end of his office, I start to follow from behind.

"How can that be possible they don't exist Derek." I say while wipe my tears away. My mind is telling me to run to the door but my heart want's to know more about him. About vampires why was I so intrigued.

"Derek answer me please." I plead. He turns to look at me and lets out a soft sigh It takes him a few moments more as if he was thinking of his answer.

"Ellie in this life there are things out there that you could not possibly imagine Vampires for one."

His eyes don't leave mine, as he sits down in his black leather chair his hand pull though his black hair taking a stand away from his face.

I am tongue tied for a few seconds before finding my voice.

"Are the elite all vampires Derek?"

"Yes" he says in a deep but sexy voice, glaring at me waiting for my reaction. My hand come to his desk, I have a lode of questions but this one I need to know. I bite my lip not really wanting to know the answer.

"Do you kill for your food, like humans?" I look down to his desk waiting for his response. My heart is racing.

He sighed before proceeding with his answer. "I have done in the past when I was newly changed, but as you gain control you know when to stop. We compel them to stay calm but we also a release a toxin off when we bite to stop any sort of pain, It makes them enjoy the feeling. A sense of calm, some even have orgasms depending what sort of toxin the vampire gives off, sometimes it can be addictive. Most agree for us to drink from them. After they just feel a little dazed. Nothing major. We have vampire laws that where set by me to abide by."

I look back to him our eyes connect before I ask him another question that is on my mind.

"How old are you Derek?" I say confused to the whole situation.

But before he opened his mouth to answer there was a knock on his office door.

"Can we discus this later Ellie, over some food" he c**k's an eyebrow at me with an amused look on his face, and it was then that I realized what he meant and why he looked so amused.

"Its not funny Derek, your a vampire."

"Look tonight I'll come for you, I will answer your questions. But I have a lot of work on."

Only man in the world that can tell me he is a vampire, but then hurry me off like it was nothing.

He gives me a kiss on top of my head that send shivers down my spine, He has just told me I'm pretty much in a house full of vampires yet all seems fine when I am around him.

I nod in agreement and I go to leave the room before looking back "Derek is Jenny safe?" 

He smiles at me, and tells me she is fine.

I open the door to leave when I see a huge man standing at the door way.

"Come in old friend" Derek call from behind me, I move to the side to get past him. His eyes follow my movements out the door. sniffing while I walk past, "Is that the girl." I hear before he slams the door behind him walking into the room to Derek.

I run back to my room to take everything in, I cant believe vampires are real. I slide down the white panel door. I need Jenny. I need someone I can talk to I feel like I am going mad.

I don't understand my own emotions. I feel so attracted to Derek He just told me he was a vampire I went into shock but his touch makes everything seem ok. But its not ok not one bit but my heart is telling me different. I don't know him. But I want to know him. the same argument goes around my head most of the day. Walking up and down the room muttering to myself. Trying to comprehend everything. What do I do.

Not so long ago I was just a simple orphaned girl, Now I'm in a house full of vampires. One telling me I'm not full human or smell like a full human and now I'm trapped here I fall back on the bed my head is just to full.

Then one thing came to mind, the other night with Jenny when she came out looking dazed when she apparently spoke to Jake. OMG did he drink from her!! I sat up straight away.
