Everyone stood in silence as my gaze swept over them from the platform at the front of the training grounds "Listen to me carefully. Over the past few weeks, the Alternus attacks have increased."
My expression hardened as I continued, "They are no longer attacking only warriors. They're killing women and children as well."
Whispers of anger, fear, and anxiety spread through the pack.
"That's why we won't wait until they reach our territory. I'll meet with the Alphas of the neighboring packs, and we'll wage war against them before they have another chance to slaughter more innocents."
Silence fell once again as they exchanged worried glances.
