Tarkyn watched with Waterstone, as Danton detached himself from Navira, then skirted around the huge pine tree to join them. The prince smiled and shook his head as his liegeman approached, “Danton, my friend, you have given yourself a challenge. She is everything you said she was and more. Frustrating, beautiful, intriguing… and she’s even more volatile than me. And now, my friend, you will become an official member of the Royal Family and my… our brother-in-law. What do you think of that?”
Danton smiled as he sat down next to Tarkyn, “Before I lost my memory and gained this new perspective, I don’t think I could have dealt with it at all. I would have been overwhelmed with the honour. But now… now, I am still honoured of course; quite amazed in fact, but overwhelmed, no.” He grinned
