Harkell smiled, “I always was, Sire.” Just as Tarkyn sent a wave of esse through his hand into Harkell, a raucous cry, and a flurry of black and gold wings filled the air as Tarkyn’s eagle swooped in to land with a heavy thump on his shoulder.
