OMINOUS FEELING
Slam.
Slam...
Came the resounding sounds of angry feets echoing as they marched against the ground. The sounds mixing saltily with the thunders blare.
The maddening whispering of the voices in his head, made his reddened eyes even darker as he stepped out into the storm.
"I didn't do it.. Pls.. Stop lieing against me... Pls.. Alora.."
His own pleading voice sounded like a distant piece of waste as it echoed in his mind.
"Alora. My mum would die in the hospital without me.. Pls.. Only your voice can save me.. So pls stop lieing.. I didn't do it for real and you know it pls.. .. She's all I got... All I have.. My mum.. Pls" His desperately begging voice resounded as he stopped outside the police gates, the slam of it shutting re-echoing and thunder blared in response.
Then the words which shut him silent that day rolled out in his mind.
Her voice... She said those words..
She said..
"Criminals never agree"
Showing him there was no avail.. And he was Bounded away.. Just like that.. Wasting seven years in prison for something he knew nothing of... His nun died at the hospital as he was no longer there to foot her bills..
Davian slowly looked up to the sky, the rains spitting on his face.
He was back ... And he was back with that one words that gave off the aura of unspeakable pains.
Revenge.
He'll make them all pay... Starting from that little liar at the court.
༄CREE'S EXQUISITE VILLA ༄
" THE EXONEREE DRUG ADDICT DAVIAN CEDAR HAS BEEN RELEASED AFTER SPENDING SEVEN YEARS IN PRISON.. HIS CRIME WAS FIGURED TO BE FALSE AND THE ACCUSATIONS WRONG, THIS WAS PROVEN AS....."
Alora's fingers shook terribly as the news played on the TV..
She was sitting on the edge of the chair and had no idea, the ice cream she was eating already spilled to the floor wetting the ground.
Her mind was shaky with the thoughts that played.
He was back..
The Black Devil was back..
Davian was back.
" Oh my gawd.. Oh my gawd" She kept mummurung, scared.
It was never her intention to falsely accuse him.. She didn't want to.. She had no intention to.. But Emily had convinced her with her lies and she had only realized the day before today that it was all lies.
While searching for antics to get fashok ideas from, she had gone down her sister's personal basement and found the same things she gave a false testimony for Davian for there.
The drugs, Cocaine, Molly and the rest..
She had taken them to confront her sister but her sister, Emily, got mad and threatened her.. daring her to report her to the authorities.
She only realized afterwards that her Sis made her give that false testimony to save herself.
She didn't get why her sis did that to Davian when she had a crush on him... Emily only cared about herself anyways.
.
And now the devil was back.. There was no doubt she was in deep trouble .. He was definitely gonna come for her. He'll search her down and put her in his deep pit of hell.
"Oh gawd" Alora gripped her hair with her shivering hands.
"Earth to Alora" Emily walked in casually and Alora took her gaze to her —Still wide eyed.
"Alora.. What got you so spaced out" Emily asked Stepping on the spilled ice cream and her face cringed.
"Can you at least clear this up.. It's messy" Emily said sitting beside Alora but frowned when she saw the devilish stare Alora was passing unto her .
" What " Emily shrugged.
"Are you still vexed about yesterday.. C'mon you know am sorry about that" Emily pouted looking down to her phone.
"He's back" Alora said and Emily slowly raised her head up.
"What.."
" He was exonerated" Alora said gripping her hair and Emily blinked.
"OK.. He can do nothing.. What's there to fear" Emily shrugged again and Alora sighed out of frustration standing up.
"What if he can do something Emily.. What if" Alora yelled and Emily looked up at her.
"You know what you need Alora.." Emily said standing up.
" You need a brain cooling outing with your elder sis" Emily said pulling Alora up and Alora groaned uninterested.
"Noo.. Pls.. Emily" Alora whined heavily distressed as Emily pulled her away.
* A CLUB *
Emily brought them here four hours ago and Alora found no comfort in the blaring sounds of music that could tear her ear drum apart, make her deaf in seconds.
The toxic smell of alcohol and the sinful sight of young people intimately dancing away and drowning themselves in alcohol only added to her stress.. The sight was gross
She wanted to leave.. She was going to leave.. Besides she seemed like the odd one out.. Everyone wore exposing dresses but she was the only one who wore a baggy brown Jean and black hood with comfy slippers.
She got up from the chair and started squeezing her way out of the mingling crowds.. In a fit to escape the tight space.. She bumped shoulders with someone with a cold metallic aura about to slick pass as well. She felt the person stop and she groaned out from the pain of the slam.
"Am sorry" She apologized nevertheless.. The aura of the person unsettling, . The rain calmed already and it only dropped in drizzles this time. She dipped her hand into her hood and ventured into the cold night.
Street lights cast its fiery gaze on the tarred street road.
The news of DAVIAN'S exoneration taking up the spaces in her head.
Her heart tightened always whenever she remembered her testimony only made the evidences more standard.
" Stop lieing.. Pls "
His pleading and teary voice resounded in her mind and she bit hard into her lower lip bursting the flesh and allowing red metal ooz out from it.
" Tch.. What else would you say other than that...
" Criminals never agree anyways "Her bold daring voice, sounding like it was a true witness of the ongoing trial.
And his voice seized.. All hope disappeared from his eyes, replaced with a feral madness that could never be calmed. Hate. It was so clear in his eyes.
That guy had never done anything to hurt her.. Infact he saved her once from those bitchy bullies.
He was sweet and although they didn't meet after that.. She just admired him secretly. He didn't look like one who would do what Emily accused him of but.. She never always trusted her gut.. She listened to Emily and now. She regretted it deeply.
Alora sighed looking up when suddenly she froze. She didn't realize how far she had walked and where she had walked into but that wasn't what made her freeze..
It was that feeling... That aura.. That same dark aura she felt at the bar but this time it was more vivid.
Adrenaline flooded her nerves, making her heart race and that feeling sucked on her essence again, even worse this time.
She felt the hairs at the back of her neck rising and her senses sharpening as she waited.
She felt someone watching her. No not just anyone, She felt him, around.. Somewhere, staring... Leeching off her fear, gawking at her like a Predator would its prey... And feeding off her dread like a parasite would its host.
She knew he was staring and slowly she looked up.
