Lunch in Mark’s office was what Callie needed. The group consisted of Jimmy, Maddie, Maya, and Kenny, who joined Callie and Mark in his office. It was a family-style meal that consisted of baked chicken, pasta, salad, breadsticks, and a large basket of chicken strips and fries for Maya in case she did not want what the adults were eating. To everyone's surprise, Maya had helpings of everything before she asked for a single chicken strip and a few fries.
Callie had been worried about Maya being upset by her father suddenly appearing at the ski shop. She was shocked when Maya only briefly mentioned her dad was there before she told about how much fun she had playing dress up. Pictures from the ski shop were passed around as Maya asked to do it again soon.
